Try to do something to take your mind off the stress. It is good that you are keeping busy on the computer. The best things to do are those that make you think about something else. For example, now that you are on Yahoo Answers, you may want to answer other people's questions. That way you will focus on what you are telling them to do. You may want to try writing something. Maybe a short story or an article. I have also heard that it is good to write positive things about your life in a journal. That way, you focus on all that is good in your life. You may want to work out, or try meditation or yoga.
As far as the person who said something to hurt your feelings, just remember that often times when someone says something negative, it is because they envy you. Or because they are unhappy, and want to make everyone as unhappy as they are. Don't let them get you down. As for sleeping, try to clear your mind of all of your thoughts. Think about something that relaxes you, and focus on it. Keep up the deep breathing, while you try other remedies. Good luck!!

Obviously, you need medical attention. There are local "crisis centers" that may be available to help you get past your current mental state - look under "County Health" in the white pages or google the name of your county and the words "mental" and "health" and, perhaps, "crisis". At least, you might find someone to talk you down and/or refer you to a competent medical professional. Tomorrow, ask a trusted friend or colleague that knows your problem who you might go to for help. It sounds to me like you need to see a psychiatrist, not a psychologist, at this point. If all else fails and you need immediate help, check into the psychiatric clinic or ward at the nearest hospital. Don't let this go on. Help is available. Try to stay calm, but be insistent that you get help. Good luck.

For sure go see a doctor about this, but you can also take steps to relax. Whatever this person said to intentionally hurt you - is it really *that* bad? Will it really matter in the big picture like a year,2 years or more down the track? Is it that important to lose sleep over? I would go have a warm shower or bath, have a cup of chamomile tea or any other warm drink other than coffee or black tea & otherwise try to distract yourself.

I know this may sound silly, but as an insomniac I have found that if I lie down to go to sleep and concentrate on listening to myself breathing, it helps my mind to stop racing about everything else and i usually fall asleep right away. You have to concentrate on listening to your breathing or your mind will slip away to other thoughts and you'll have to start all over again. During the day, try to find something pleasing to spend your time with, like your pet, something to relax you more. Hope this helps some!!! Good Luck!!

First off. you do need to take breaths to calm down. Turn off the tv if it's on. Put some lite music on .close ur eyes and imagine ur self in a favorite spot, maybe it's by a lake or a river. u have to listen to the music....let the music take u there don't let the anxtiety take u. This is mind over matter. if u think u r going to blow up over something stupid then it will happen but u need to take deep breaths and get a hold of ur self.Good Luck:)

First of all, just because someone said something cruel with the intent to hurt you, should not be the make or break of you. People are mean and you will encounter this through out your life. My feeling is you doubt yourself so much that you are not able to brush the encounter off, obviously.
I understand you have anxiety, I do to. I am currently on Lexapro. Besides the help of medication, you yourself need to understand and realize how to not let others affect you so much. It;s not fair to your body.
Work on yourself and your own demons. You are a precious human being with so much potential. Believe that, know that and you will breath just fine.

Get a good diet, realize the person was immature and instead of getting your feelings hurt like s/he wanted, stay away from the person until s/he apologizes, and participate where you are wanted. We always need people like you and it can help us when others prove that they don't deserve you because then you have time for us.

You need some time to yourself to just calm down. If you can afford a nice full body massage, like a 90 minute one . .that will really loosen you up .. make you feel much better. Good Luck ! :)
