God is all knowing and he knew that they were going to eat of the fruit it was part of his special plan.

People think that way because when they read the bible they do not understand certain parts, for God has not revealed the meaning to them yet.

Where does it say that its spiritual? I read and posted that section in another question here earlier this evening, and let me tell you, it says "but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." Nowhere does it even imply a spiritual death or loss of innocence.

You're falling victim to an age old church habit: Change the meaning of what is written in order to make it fit what you believe.

You can't even argue that death was not iminent to these creatures because in Genesis 3:22...And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."

Worse still, who the hell is god talking to when he says us? Other translations of the bible use the word Elohim, which when translated by anyone other than a christian or hebrew, means brethern or pantheon...meaning there's MORE THAN ONE GOD according to your own damn bible!

Saying that these are out of context quotes is only part right. I've taken them out of the entire chapter, which if you read it, doesn't clarify any position about immortality of either their physical or spiritual selves.

It's speaking about both "spiritual death and physical"

On the day of eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, the first human couple died in God’s eyes and headed downward toward their physical death.

Adam joined Eve in breaking God’s law. By grasping for what did not belong to them, they lost their glorious freedom. Sin became their master, and as God had warned, death eventually followed. The inheritance they passed on to their offspring was sin, manifest in an inborn tendency toward wrongdoing. Sin also brought weaknesses resulting in disease, aging, and death. The inclination toward wrongdoing, aggravated by Satanic influence, produced a human society with a history of hatreds, crimes, oppression, and wars that have taken many millions of lives. What a contrast to the freedom that God gave mankind at the beginning!

God had warned Adam and Eve that if they were disobedient and ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, they would die “in the day” of their eating. (Genesis 2:17) True to his word, God called them to account on the very day of their sinning and pronounced the sentence of death. From God’s standpoint, Adam and Eve died that day. To carry out his purpose regarding the earth, however, Jehovah allowed them to produce a family before they died physically. Nevertheless, since God can view 1,000 years as one day, when Adam’s life ended at 930 years, it was within one “day.” (2 Peter 3:8; Genesis 5:3-5) Thus God's truthfulness was upheld as to when punishment would be executed, and his purpose for the earth was not thwarted by their deaths.

In the KJV version it says thou shalt surely die.
In the New Jerusalem Bible it reads you are doomed to die.
The cycle of life and death will begin if ADAM eats of the fruit of the tree of the Knowledge of GOOD and EVIL.

Adam also ate of the Tree of Life

Genesis 3:22
And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us to know good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his HAND and take also of the TREE OF LIFE, and EAT, and LIE forever

Can it be both

Genesis 2:9
ANd out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the Tree of Life also in the midst of the Garden, and the tree of Knowledge of good and evil.

Adam and Eve and mankind body now has to die and return to the earth?

DUDE! it's talking about both, first because they partook of the forbidden fruit they were cast out of the garden and were not worthy to be in GODs presence anymore. They became seperated spiritually. Then as a result of partaking the fruit they would die a physical death also so they would not have to live forever in their sin! Then because of what Christ did and his glory over death all will be resurrected. Therefore no one is punished for Adams transgressions. Yet we all get to take a ride on this thing we call life! because of what Adam and Eve did! There was both spiritual and eventually physical death.

People, there was a plan......it was all figured out before God placed them in the Garden. They had to partake of the fruit to follow God's command to be fruitful and multiply. They couldn't be fruitful and multiply without first partaking of the fruit, and having their eyes opened. It was planned. What is so difficult about this.....?

They did die eventually which was not supposed to happen since God made them to live forever.

It also depends on the what the Hebrew usage of the word "day" is. It could mean a long age or a 24 hour period.

this is relating non secular dying which brings approximately actual dying. bear in recommendations "dying" only skill "separation" so God meant that Adam or perhaps may be "separated" from Him continuously (till the Messiah got here and died on the bypass) the day they ate of the tree. It had to recommend non secular dying using fact they of course did not die bodily that day. all of us understand they did not or Cain and able does not have been born.

Ignorance of the Bible and poor reasoning ,also an attempt to use out of context phrases by people who are deeply unfamiliar with the text.
