cults dont all drink poisoned kool-aid...maybe they drink small amounts of wine with some bread and call it a representation of some outlandish thing...maybe they chant and are made to kneel and stand by another man on a pulpit...maybe they believe in some invisible creator that was once alive many years ago....maybe they are taught from birth to belive these things...maybe thats how they brainwash people into believing in these things...is that what cults do to people?...is that how they bring others in and take their money, say 10% of thier income?...i assume they are made to meet in large gatherings at certain times on certain days and do certain things as well...what are your feelings about cults?

P.S. if u dont understand and agree with what i just wrote dont answer because i dont care what your going to say...im not interested in joining your cult

Sincerely, if you are serious about wanting to know what a cult is you should take a look at the psychological effects cults have on people. perhaps you would like to read the work of steven hassan, his book is called" combatting cult mind control".
essentially, if any group takes away the ability to make decisions on your own and becomes controlling, then you have a problem.
Personally I am a practising anglican and i have unfortunately seen destructive mind control practices from the odd individual from time to time. That is why I took the time to study what mind controll is and I hope you do the same. Listed below is a helpful website. Hope you find what youre looking for.

Look, I see where you're going with this, but it's a slippery slope. Cults, by definition, seperate people from their families and normal lives. They seek to isolate people from the rational world so they can have complete control over them. While regular religion does crazy retarded things sometimes and then asks people for money, they do not exert this extreme control over their followers.

Cults brainwash.
Religion teaches us of our faith
there is a big difference between the two.

I'm not interested in joining your cult either... Yours seems to be biased and based solely upon unfactual data... oh, yeah, and that intolerant thing, too
