Im going to Knott's Scary Farm [a Halloween-timed theme park] tomorrow and it is suppose to be one of the best days of my LIFE! But I get terrible motion sickness when I go on to many roller coasters! I've heard things like eat bread and take some Advils but I want to know does this work? And do you have any other advise? Because I can definately tell you I WILL go on coasters and I will most likely get sick! HELP!

Hey, I'm going there tonight :)

I get motion sickness from roller coasters too. I usually just don't go on a ride if I know it will make me sick. What I do sometimes too is to take a Dranomine before I go. Also make sure you keep your eyes open during the ride because if you can't see where you are going, you will feel even worse. So don't worry, just go and have fun..use your common sense on what will make you sick and what will not. By the way, since you are going to Knott's SCARY farm, you will probably just go in the mazes, not the rides.

Take motion sickness tablets (Dramamine, etc.) before you go. Some of them won't make you drowsy. Also at the pharmacy you can buy stretch bands with a little ball on them to wear on your wrists (the ball sits on pressure points, like acupressure) which help some people with motion sickness.
And candied ginger can help with motion sickness. Get some to chew on. Or sip ginger ale.
I get so sick, but sometimes I get lucky! If I don't focus entirely on how I am feeling, but focus on what is going on outside the ride or other distraction it helps. Try to be on the inside of the ride (like the drivers side of a car). Good luck and have fun!

Take some Dramamine. Its used to prevent motion sickness and can be purchased over the counter. Wal-Mart sells it. You are supposed to take it an hour before your activity and every four hours there after to prevent motion sickness. It really works!

Motion sickness pills are probably your best bet but if you don't like over the counter drugs I heard that ginger pills are a safe and mostly effective natural remedy.
