I find that the sweeter or syrupy liqueurs are more like to do that to me... Kahlua, chocolate liquor, Ouzo, Sambuca etc... and I suffer from it quite severely too. Practically turn purple.

Maybe it depends on the person??

I always thought wine did for me. Everytime I drink wine my cheeks get flushed.
