Personally, I'd rather go with Sony.

If you can afford the cost go for Sony. Samsung is also equally
good. Last week I bought a Samsung 29 inches Flat TV and works
good.

Tech tv did a comparison test and so have several other shows but Samsung came out the leader. You simply can compare the brilliant colours of both and Samsung comes out on top. Samsung ironically were the leaders in flat screens when they first come out and are still on top of the heap!

Samsung has killer customer service. Sony's blows. I would take the samsung anyday!
