Most of the time, yes. However, some older games may have a few problems due to the fact they were not designed for todays hardware.

If you do have problems, try running the games .exe in compatibility mode. To do so, right-click the main .exe, then click Properties. Click the Compatibility tab and choose the option to run the game in Win98 mode.

Yes.but some game will not work.If the game is not working in windows Xp then do one thing.Right-click on the game(one the .exe file) then click on properties.Then click on compability tab and then select run this program for windows 98 or whatever os u want.There are 70 % that the game will work.
