It's an evolutionary thing. In the wild, the male with brightest colors, biggest rack of antlers or reddest butt gets the girl. Those animals, while successful in mating, are also probably jerks and full of themselves too.
On some level, biological mostly, you find that attractive. Eventually, the intellectual side will kick in and you'll figure out that the showy male of the species can also be jerks. And hopefully, you come to that conclusion soon.

yes but hey they are your friend with benefits for a reason.. the benefits part .. not so you guys can date .. they are there for sex that's it.. so who cares if they are full of themselves or not.. as long as the sex is good.. just remember you don't have to married them so **** them and leave .. and everything will be great when you both get off and go in different directions .. have fun and good luck

yea. that was the worst and stupidest 7 months of my life. friends with benefits is a joke and i was fooling myself into thinking he might actually consider a relationship with me eventually. sad thing is that he was a jerk, a loser, and totally below my standards. i know it's easy to say that now but the only reason why i was friends with him was because he was there and he was cute. otherwise i was embarassed to be seen in public with him and couldnt stand his huge ego!
