And do you need to put mayonnaise in it? Thanks! Just looking for simple answers NOT no story long answers OK.

Easiest is:
12 mashed hard boiled eggs
1/4 cup "light" mayo (BAMA is best)
salt/pepper to taste

for variety add bacon bits and stir. Serve on toast or plain.

"This is my favorite recipe for egg salad because it uses little mayonnaise and plenty of dill."
Original recipe yield: 4 servings

SERVINGS About scaling and conversions

INGREDIENTS
8 eggs
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
2 tablespoons prepared Dijon-style mustard
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 red onion, minced
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil; cover, remove from heat, and let eggs stand in hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from hot water, cool, peel and chop.
In a large bowl, combine the egg, mayonnaise, mustard, dill, paprika, onion and salt and pepper. Mash well with a fork or wooden spoon.
Serve on bread as a sandwich or over crisp lettuce as a salad.

3 cooked eggs, chopped or cubed
1/4 cup grated carrots
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup mayonnaise
Salt and Pepper to taste

Combine the above ingredients together and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

Chop hard boiled eggs, add sweet pickle relish to taste, a little onion salt and mayo for consistency you desire.

Mash a hard boiled egg, add onion powder, celery, salt, pepper(if you like). Without Mayo its all over the place

Most recipes have mayo. I use Hard Boiled eggs, celery, onion, light mayo with a nice season salt.
