I accidentally hit her. . .?

Question

I backhanded my GF by accident,
It wasn't very hard, but she beat me up pretty bad for doing it.
I kept apologizing, but she showed no mercy and now I've got bruises all over me, I'm not sure what to do about it, how do I make it up to her?
She's still mad at me.

I was joking like I was going to backhand her, and I accidentally followed through, oops.

She beat you up, damn, You sound like a real nice guy for letting her do that and end up having bruises for it. I'm a girl and I understand how guys sometimes accidentally hit their gf, well, cause most of the times we actually try to get you guys to hit us, I really don't know why we do that but I guess girls like drama sometimes. You didn't deserve to get beaten up anyway, just because she's a girl doesn't mean that she can beat you up and not consider it as a domestic violence but anyways, back to your question how you can make it up to her, just try to not do it again and next time that you have an argument with her just walk away and get some air and then talk to her when everyone is not angry at each other anymore.

Unless you have uncontrollable muscle spasms, it was no accident. She had every right to be mad at you. She did not, however, have the right to beat you. This sounds like the beginning of a very abusive relationship that could go bad from either direction. You need to learn to control your temper and then go find a new girlfriend. And she needs to take some anger management.

Were either or both of you drinking?

Your hitting her accidentally is absolutely no excuse for her to hit you. Even if you had hit her on purpose, it would have been the wrong thing to do.

Physical violence is not a component of a healthy, working relationship. You need to talk to a counselor and work it out so this never happens again, or part ways.

it happens, although in this society they always think the woman is the victim when the man really did not mean to do any harm. however you said is a backhand, it must of been aiming at something

Whether it was an accident or not ... that is a strange way for your girlfriend to react .. abuse can go both ways. Has the relationship been good up til now ?? I might say that you two should move on to other people. Good Luck ! :)

you got to ask yourself why did you hit her? what drove you that far to hit her?
as far as i am concerned you did your best to apologize, but tell her why you did it and promise that you wont do it again. Then try to avoid such a situation where you will do it again.
did she apologies for hitting you?
spoil her take her to dinner, get her a little gift and show true remorse.
