i want 2 b his friend but he is in love with me?

Question

i was in a relationship with my ex of 3 years,i meet
Bird when my relationship was failing and we became lovers,then he went 2 jail and in that time i stop caring 4 him.When he got out i still acted like me and him was cool,then he told me that he loved me,so i told him we can only b friends and we wont never b 2gether i thought that he was cool with that we became good friends .then me and my ex broke up and Bird told me that he want 2 be with me.I do like him but he act like he dont want nothing out of life he is very start but he just want to run the streets and i cant go back to that kind of retionship i need someone that bring something to the relationship not me bring everthing again how do i tell him again that we can only be friends
the first time was because of my ex. this time i dont know what to tell him.

The only thing you can do is to tell him the same thing again, there are no other way around. If he can not except the fact that you only want to be friends with him then he don't really care that much because as it seems to me he is pushing you into a direction you don't want to go, and you are correct. you do need someone who can also put effort into the relationship, you are not the only person in the relationship. eww i had this problem..sometimes its best just to talk to them straight out about it. people who love you wont take no for an answer. tell him what you just wrote and let him know you love him much more as a friend and that his friendship means so much more to you than a relationship.

haha i had a similar problem...
sometimes u just cant be friends with ur ex
it really sucks
no matter what you do ur gonna hurt him
so just tell him how u feel and see what happens from there
