I have already tried drugs such as Ambien, Lunesta and Rozerem. I am currently on several drugs which are supposed to have a sedative effect - examples include Klonopin and Geodon. I can't sleep past 3:30am if I stay up all day. I can't sleep past 12:30 am if I nap.

Did you consult doctor?Taking medicines of your own could be harmful.
Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.

You have SOMETHING wrong girl. Maybe you are doing too much exercise, and not giving your body the nutrition it needs to recover. You not being able to sleep is because you have low serotonin. Passionflower tea works well for that. Please make sure you are meeting your RDA. The critical thing here could be your STRESS. Once again, low serotonin can be related to stress. I think you should go and buy a passionflower tea... And also try some other herbs to help you deal with anxiety. I think that Wolfberries could help you out a little bit and eating more fruits, like bananas, kiwis, watermelons, apples, pears and oranges... Try some more herbal teas? Or things with soy... And more nuts and such. OH, AND STOP STRESSING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I MEAN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S VERRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BAD FOR YOUR BODY!! Find a way to try to reduce your stress... I know it's hard, close to impossible sometimes. But you seem to do lots of exercise which is a great help. :) Maybe you will find a way, all the best.

Dang... lots of stuff there. Ok, do this for a week... take 2 tablespoons of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon combined w/ boiled water... drink it before you go to sleep... and 30 min before breakfast ...
If you don't tolerate cinnamon for some reason, take just 2 tablespoons of honey before bed. If you don't fall asleep in 30 min, take two more.... to kick start it, take 2 tablespoons every 30 min, until you fall asleep.
Ambien Lunesta and Rozerem only work until a point, and when they reached the threshold the stop working.
Honey is a natural remedy for anxiety and insomnia... (and a heap of all other things) and the sugar in it is actually not detrimental like the real sugar..

My mom actually cured my dad of insomnia by administering him 2 tablespoons of honey every 15-20 minutes - he was sleeping like a baby in a week. You will need to take this for about that much ( a week) if your insomnia is that bad... Good luck!

Forget drugs- try some herb. Valerian has been used for 1000 years. Take 3-4 capsules a night and within a week you'll be sleeping well

Try Benadryl ... take two ... it has the same ingredients as OTC. sleep aids. Drink nothing with caffeine for several hours before bed time. As caffeine wears off it will make you "crash" and sleep a couple of hours and then be wide awake.
Try going to bed later. Sometimes 4 to 5 hours of good sleep is better than trying to sleep longer.
Try a sleep clinic where they monitor your sleep for sleep apnea

you need to exercise, and put yourself on a strict schedule of what time you go to be and wake up, your body will eventually adjust.
