Why should it? The prophecy was that the Lord would return, then they changed it when He didn't to the end of the world through nuclear war. The prophecy has already been proven a false one...

no ... how can u ignore the major chinese threat of hundreds of nukes and worry about north koreas 1 bomb? look for an eventual nuclear exchange between china and the US with maybe russia teaming up with china to take the US out ... then they will head for the middle east ... israel still has its nukes but is faced with unsurmountable odds .... this i imagine is the final showdown.

Christianity says that only God knows the day, ONLY GOD! So, obviously I cant say, but if you look at the trend of not the "other" countries, but the US itself, we are pulling hard against God and my money's on God, not the US. Why do you thing the US isnt in the Bible as one of the last strong empires?
