Specifically, I am looking for something that wont wipe off easily, goes on evenly and looks really good. Prefferably something safe for the face as well and has a light shimmer. But anything that fits into my main needs, stated at the start.

Personal experience would be most favorable.

(specific color looking for would be a light blue.)

People with an actual answer to my question instead of trying to entertain themselves with dumb comments would be nice. Thanks.

Try paints by snazaroo, they last for ages, you mix them with water and apply with a paint brush, for a beautiful finish. They arekind to skin and come in loads of great colours, and last for ages once dry don't smudge. I used to be a statue (performer) and these are what i used, you can buy them from some costume and craft shops or ebay.

Hi,

I went to a costume party recently and bought some silver body paint from a costume party shop called Knutz, close to Covent Garden. It's really good and if you don't use too much it gives a light even coverage that is slightly iridescent. It wasn't too cheap, I think around £4.95 for a tube but I can see it going a LONG way. They sell a variety of other colours too. A friend showed up as a red demon and he really was red from head to foot. Same stuff! Hope that helps!

Try http://www.dauphines.co.uk. Brands such as Ben Nye, Kryolan or Leichner do some very good body paints in all colours. They make them water-based, so they are easier to get off, but they don't look chalky, and are not as harmful to your skin as the greasepaints.
I ordered some stage foundation from there a few weeks ago (it was Kryolan, easy to apply), and it did take them a whole week for it to arrive, so order it in advance of when you need it!

Use Gloss paint for wood.

Doesn't wipe off easily
Looks good (after 16 hours dry time)
Has a light shimmer
Safe....uh....you got me there! Just dont breath or lick your lips.

EDIT

Its a dumb answer alright but humour never goes amiss in this screwed culture we have today. ;)
