He seems interesting and nice and I want to get to know him a bit better. The thing is, he's 30 and I am 22. I've been attracted to older men my whole life so I don't see anything wrong with it. I guess maybe I'm more worried about what everyone else will think. What does everyone think I should do?

8 years isnt a huge age gap when you are in your twenties, its only something you should worry about if you were.... lets say 14 and he was 22.

Don't worry about everyone else. That's not a bad age difference either. The official formula is as follows half your age plus 7. So 30-15+7=22. Perfect!! Plus you met him in the store, not the bar, so chances are you're both actually attracted to each other. Go for it, don't worry what people think.

Call him.
The difference in maturity between 30 and 22 can be fairly small. You might be getting a guy who has reached an emotional maturity that you may not get with guys your own age. He may be better established and willing to spend the time to treat you like you deserve to be treated.
You won't know if you don't call. Oh, and never date anyone just to please other people. It doesn't work.

there`s nothing wrong in meeting people whose older than you.maybe,what you feel now is infatuation.If ever that is love then ask yourself how far can you do to this man.It doesnt matter if his older to you or not,but if you understand each other in the midst of challenges that might come on your way.Just always think every step you make coz you are responsible for that.

Follow your heart! If it's right, you'll know it. It's nothing wrong with dating older guys, in fact your ages are ok, b/c it's not that much of a generational gap.
