It depends what you found on his phone. Was she calling him or was he calling her? Was he answering when she calls? Was he returning her calls? If it was over then he probably wouldn't be racking up a huge phone bills making calls to her and having long conversations. Did you check to see the length of these calls? Most guys do not stay on the phone especially with an ex-girlfriend for an extended period of time. There is always the chance that he is being honest. Does his past tell you anything? If he has never given you any reason to doubt him before than don't assume the worst but be prepared for it. Talk to his family, talk to his friends, see over the upcoming holidays if he is spending time with her etc. In time the truth will reveal itself. Good luck!

Go Ahead Gal! Don't miss your chance, I just had the same thing happened to me a month ago! I was in doubt whether he was totally over with his ex-gf as he just broke up with his ex-gf for two days! I could not love him much as the situation seemed a bit unclear for me. Anyway now im regret for that very much. So why not have a try and enjoy your time 1st gally.

No. Not if he's in the army too. They always keep a girl on the side in a different country so that the girls he's seeing in different countries don't find out. I lived in a Navy town and I knew some Navy guys. They told me. Also, my brother was in the army... watch out.

If you like him and want a commitment... ask him for solid proof that he's not taken in another country.

Nope
if you were her, wouldnt you want him to tell YOU so YOU could go on with your life. if it is over and he has integrity and respect ( which is a charcteristic i would be looking for in a GREAT guy) then he shouldnt have a problem in calling the other girl - that is if he wants to be with you now. have to remember, people sometimes will tell you what you want to hear to get what they want. it is better to be honest with yourslef too and ask if the shoe was on the other foot, how would you handle it.?

So what were you doing by invading his privacy and looking at his phone? He owes you no explanation for something that you sneaked around to find out about.
You're both free agents, at this point.
( That's what you get for 'clicking" before you know someone!)

Ask your self one question how important this man is in your life. Is it a one night stand or will u be with him for your entire life.
If u feel its just a infatuation dont bother about his girl friend. If not then you should start trusting him

I'd go with your gut instinct, but if this is the first or second date I'd be very warry of trusting him on this.

...Hooah...um...as far as I see it...you're there, he's there, she isn't...enjoy yourself...however he should break it off with her...because it isn't good to leave someone hanging, or string along someone new...
