Bloody Mary!!! Sorry I couldn't resist. You can seriously make any kind of spiked punch that is red and then get a white rubber glove fill it with water and freeze it. It makes ice-shaped floating hands in your punch. It looks pretty cool. Good Luck. hope this helps

I made a really cool green punch last year for my Halloween party. I used a 2 litter lemon-lime drink, a can of frozen daiquiri mix, a box of lime sherbet, half a bottle of rum and green kool aid. I got some of those glow stick and put them in a plastic bag with some ice to weight it down and some plastic eye balls. Put it in a glass punch bowl and VIOLA! It was really good and tart and I got a lot of compliments on it.

My favorite punch recipe is as follows:

1 gallon Slow Gin
1 gallon Southern Comfort
1 gallon Orange Juice

When mixed all together, it has a reddish orange color making it a good punch for Halloween.

Just be very careful, people have a tendency to drink more than they should because it taste so good.

If you want to mix it by the glass, just mix equal parts of all ingredients.

cheap affordable and no hassle.............

1 ounce vodka
1 ounce peach schnapps
4 ounces orange juice

will make ONE drink

conversion:

1 gallon orange juice
1 quart peach schnapps
1 quart vodka ( for the brave) cut in half for milder taste.
Mix and pour back into containers until party time.

Take one large pumpkin, cut the top off as if you were making a jack-0-lantern, use the pumpkin as a punch bowl. It adds great flavor for one thing! And a flare to the party.

Paint a face on the pumpkin............

I don't know about the punch itself but if you turn rubber gloves inside out and fill them with a contrasting color juice or whatever then freeze them, the ice looks likes hands floating in the punch. Remove the glove before putting the ice in the punch.

OK you can go online and look for Brain and Heart Jello Molds. Maybe you can make them into colored ice for the punch bowl ... or just make jello - the recipes should be there to get the proper color for the "brain." :)

I personally like the wop, ( bacardi/vodka, misc. puckers, and fruit) in a cauldron with dry ice. (for the Smokey effect). Pretty good. Better if you add eyeball and other limbs.
