Most atheists can't answer a question without bad-mouthing Christians, and that just shows a very low level of maturity. They say Christians don't respect their decision not to believe, and that's one of the reasons they do it. But where's the respect from them for what Christians believe? Also, atheists believe that they are intellectually superior to Christians, therefore there is always at least one of them who will correct a questioner's grammar. Also a definite sign of extreme immaturity. They can't answer the question,so they resort to childish behavior.Yes,some who say they are Christians do the same, but as Christians,we shouldn't let ourselves sink to that adolescent level. As adults, none of us should fall to that level. It doesn't show maturity, and it certainly doesn't show intelligence.

A Christian chiming in here... bring on the bashing, atheists! Your antagonism confirms the validity of my beliefs! If I were just stupid, why would you care?? Also, it reminds me that I have a purpose here on earth, there are lost people who need a Savior and Jesus died to be that Savior... Finally, it gives me specific people to pray for... So, to all you atheists, although you may not care to hear it, Jesus loves you and so does this 4gvn snr.
BTW - evolution is an atheistic belief system, not science. Evolution and creationism are interpretations of data. Since we cannot recreate the dawn of time we must examine the data with an open mind and go where the evidence leads us. Science consistently points to an Intelligent Designer, an uncaused Cause.

In my opinion,no one should bash anybody,no matter what kind of questions are asked, especially on Yahoo!Answers.Assuming that most Atheists who ask Christians questions of any kind about their faith are mature teenagers & adults who respect any answer that a Christian gives them,I'd say that it's possible not to bash the Christian.
I'm one Christian who's never been into "bashing" or insulting people of other faiths. In my opinion, that's a terrible Christian witness!

Of course, it is a choice like anything else. Can a christian ask an intelligent question? Could a christian answer without bashing an atheist? Sure, but do they. Sometimes. And sometimes atheists answer without bashing too....and in those moments our humanity supercedes our ancient dogmas and it is beautiful.

Define "bashing" a Christian...do you mean disagreeing and trying to tell them about this scientific theory called evolution? Do you mean showing controdictions in the Bible? Or do you mean questioning the existance of a God? I am guilty of all three! If any of theses is considered bashing then I am a Christian Basher!

Not any worse then the Christians looking to provoke atheist with questions as bad as this. Tell me what purpose is the question serving? Except to show total intolerance towards someone who doesn't believe as you! Besides that's just the way it is on here, if you can't handle it then maybe you should find a calmer category. I think that both sides are notorious for antagonizing each other!

Yes.
Oh, to the user above me, do you call me immature when other people run around in our college class screaming about football while I'm working away trying to concentrate so I can pay off my bills? Great Christian supporter you are.

What do you care if we bash if you're so secure in your position? I suggest it's impossible to be secure in your position and the only response of mystics to criticism is the use of force. You have nothing else to back up your claims. I feel no pity for you that would keep me from confronting and denouncing your hostile views against the existance of the mind, the value of individuality, and the fact of my basic goodness.

I'm pretty sure I've "bashed" before and I am sorry. I just wish there was a way to make you see the other sides to your beliefs.

For me it depends on the question, and especially on how the question is phrased. If a question is asked respectfully, I try to give a respectful answer.
