the opposite of that (bark worse then bite) means that you are full of talk but no action. Think of a little dog, barking away, but as soon as you move towards it, it runs away.
The way that you put it is that you dont put a lot of show into you talk, but you let your actions talk. Think of a bigger dog. They will not often bark at you, but will just bite instead.

The more common expression is to say that one's "bark is worse than his/her bite" which means that the person seems more intimidating than they really are. The reverse ("bite is worse than his bark") might be used as a sort of pun on the saying to indicate that the person is more aggressive than they seem.

You mean to say your bark is worse than your bite. It means that all the yelling and screaming is worse than actually getting, let's say, hit in the head.

When a dog's bark is worse than it's bite, THAT means that one is all talk and no action.
When the two things are reversed, the meaning changes. It means that your physical actions do more harm than your words.

Well it's usually in the reverse but the way you have it here it would mean that your actions are stronger than your talk. Which isn't very commonly said, I think you meant to say it the opposite which would basically mean you are all talk and have no actions to back it up.

You make alot of noise but you are lacking in the action department-opposite of speak softly but carry a big stick, where you don't raise a fuss but have no hesitation to kick butt.
