Sure, and sin is sin.....their sins are just obvious. Tell me, who is casting the first stone here? Just because someones sins are obvious doesn't mean that that person should be stoned. On the contrary. I have known people with worse sins, it's all about overcoming. Who's reward will be better, the overeater or the adulterer. The reward is the same also. It's not for us to judge, but to set and example and LOVE ONE ANOTHER! Christ didn't hate the sinner just the sin! At least they are at church and trying, each of us recieves light and knowledge at different levels maybe they just haven't learned to love themselves enough yet. Pitty you! since you seem to not like overweight people.

People from all walks of life are becoming obese, not just Christians. I know a really heavy-set atheist, for instance. Anyhow, I'm not sure that I'd classify it as a sin, particularly since I can't always determine what made the person obese. People struggling with their blood sugar can become overweight, for instance. Just do the sensible thing and accept people at whatever weight they happen to be. It's no big deal.

Gluttony is a sin. All Christians stuggle with one form of sin or another. Some overwieght Christians may have been overweight before they became saved (Christian). Not being healthy is a sin. But there are so many hidden sins, that it would be hypocrisy to point out that a Christian is a sinner because he or she is overwieght, and hypocrisy is one of the greatest sins of all.
So don't be a hypocrite. God knows your sins. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but while we were still sinners God loved us so much that he gave his only Son in order to free us from our sin, and to forgive our sins.

Being overweight is not a sin. Gluttony is a sin, however. If you become overweight by placing your love of food over your love of God, then you are sinning. But there are other ways of beoming overweight that I'm sure you are familiar with--------medications, medical conditions, getting older, giving birth just to name a few.

May be.....but what if its a medical thing like a bad thyroid or something? Don't judge a book by its cover.
I wouldn't worry about them, nor should they point out others with imperfections. All you have to worry about is your relationship between you and God. The same is true for them as well.

YEP!!
[ i ]was up 236pds. and[ i ]loved Food more than the ALMIGHTY ONE that was giving it to [me]..
Then out of NOwhere[my] heart lead [me] to JESUS, and the bible told [me] that :
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments
After that [ i ]lost down to 160pds..
And[ i ]feel better with it off and JESUS in[my]life..

well this question really surprises me. being overweight could be genetically inherited, or due to hormonal imbalance or due to environment and dietary conditions. all people who eat are not obese and all people who dont eat are sometimes quite obese.
