I'm 32. He's 35. We saw each other for a month. I took b-control pills and the hormones made me FREAK OUT. He got suffocated. On Saturday, he told me he couldn't take the drama. I didn't realize until Sunday (when friends had an intervention) that it was the pills. When we spoke, I said, would it be okay if I called you in a month when life slowed down? He paused and said a friendly, "yeah." We joked a bit and then got off the phone. I think he meant the, "yeah." Now that I realize it's the pills that were making me anxious and irritable, should I tell him that or should I wait a few weeks to make sure it's out of my system and hope he's interested? Is it best to wait? ---He's a doctor, so he should understand the pill/hormone thing. (serious replies only please)

call and tell him about the pills and then tell him you would like to see him again but not until your system has time to adjust back to normal. if he says yes great. good luck

Hi.

The only thing that concerns me is that you are blaming the pills completely and yet you did not notice the change in your own behaviour. Are you a "drama" junkie even without the pills? There is no way that you would stop taking the pills on Saturday and today be a different person. It would take time for your body and hormones to calm down. You need to be 100% honest with yourself about this okay?
I don't know of any man that I've ever met that enjoys "drama", especially when they have to listen to the "freak outs". If that is a part of you right now, then be honest with him and tell him that it was partly the pills and partly you and then tell him you will get help via anger management or whatever is available to you.
I hope that helps. Best of luck.

Man those blooming pills really do effect us and most women would agree i think.

If you really like him then tell him. especially is he is a doctor. surely he will get the concept.

If it does not work do not blame yourself. If he was a guy worthy of you he would stick around.

If it does then thats cool too.

Being honest is completly worth it and something you have to practice for when you find the one you are meant to be with so whether it be him or some other lucky guy, your just practicing being true.

I wish you lots of luck.

Wait it out. He needs a breather. Seems like you do too. If birth control pills can cause someone to freak out, being a doctor, he would already know it. You don't need to explain. If you call him sooner, it may just be enough to push him away for good.

I have never heard of BC pills making anyone "freak out"? Does sound like you like drama though.

because he is a doctor he should be aware that it's the pills which made you anxious and irritable, and the more that he should understand and be patient on you....think about it....and decide whether to call him or not....

YES you should call him......... because you weren't actually "yourself" when you last saw him. The best bet though would be an email because you can type out all you want him to know. He should be given an oppurtunity to know YOU..

I wouldn't call. Just give things time to settle down. If he is nterested he will call to check on you. If he doesn't call, it wasn't meant to be.
