Not saying anything at all is a bit extreme, but once you're comfortable around each other you no longer have to talk all the time, silences are no longer so awkward/uncomfortable.

I HAVE TIMES WHERE ME AND MY WIFE HAVE JUST CHILLED AND NOT SAID NOTHING, BECAUSE WE HAVE GOTTEN PAST THE POINT OF THINGS BEING VERBAL, WHERE WE CAN READ EACH OTHER, AND SOMETIMES U DON'T HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING U JUST FLOW WITH THE FEELING THAT'S IN THE AIR LOVE AFFECTION, ETC.

yep, he is not pressured to strike a conversation. Which is good. It means he thinks you like him enough that he doesnt have to be "on" 24/7 anymore. ^_^
