In Ohio the ones home schooled can attend any activity the public school offeres in their school district if they want to. So maybe check on this and see if it is anything you are interested in.

You asked specifically for GA, I'm in Texas, so I really can't give you any specifics, but my advice to you would be to look (or have your mom look) for a homeschool group in your area and go from there.
You basically have two types of groups: support groups and co-ops.
Co-ops usually offer tons of things for families to do, based on how large the group is. Each family participates in offering classes to students or helps in the running of the program. Most meet once a week. Our group has 120 families and we have everything from book clubs and arts and crafts to physics and calculus to sports like roller hockey, volleyball, tennis, basket ball, PE, ping pong, billards...you get the idea.
Support groups can usually focus more on being an encouragement to one another, but usually have many different get togethers and field trips you can participate in.
both groups can be a wealth of information about the different types of activities for HS families in your area, so getting involved in either one will help you find more things to do.
Yahoo groups also has tons of chat groups for different homeschool groups too. Some are chats for real groups that get together for activities, so you may find a group that way too.
good luck

Check with your local YMCA. They may have a home school group that get together for PE.
A great activity also may be to visit a retirement home and talk to administration to see if there is someone who doesn't get visited and "adopt" them.
Another activity might also be to clean up a park for local kids to stay safe. We find so many dangers in the sand.
See if there is "Habitat for Humanity" in your area. They always need volunteers.

I am from NW Atlanta and there are a TON of activities. CHOOSE is a program out of woodstock that has field trips, Timothy Minestries is out of First Baptist Woodstock that offers academic classes as well as things like guitar lessons and orchestra (my 15 year old brother plays guitar) NCA athletics is also in the Woodstock area and offers: football, baseball, basketball, cross country, and I think golf/tennis. Masters Academy is for the arts and had visual, performing, and musical programs. Christian Family Theatre in Acworth/Marietta area does 2 shows a year and is almost all homeschoolers. The list goes on and on. It depends on what is in your area. GHEA is a good place to start cuz they can help you find programs in your area. www.GHEA.edu I believe is their addie.
