Camrys are among the most reliable cars out there. We had a 1995 Camry and it ran problem free up to 185,000 miles! It was low maintinence too, just had to change the oil, tires, and had one mandatory tune up at 150,000 miles. Got great gas mileage too!
We liked it so much that we bought another one in 2005 and so far it's running great.
You can't go wrong with a Camry, however right now they are more expensive than the Accord. No discounts whatsoever except if your buying the base LE or CE 4 cylinder models.
Personally I'd go with the Camry, but if you could wait until early 2007, it may be more worth it for you since there will be bargaining room. Thats what I'm planning on doing. Hope that helped.

Is this a good car to consider?
- Absolutely
I saw a brand-new one on the road and it looks like it's been redesigned.
- It has
What is the reputation for this car?
- Outstanding value, above average resale value, quiet, comfortable, great ride, very high milage, extremely well built
Would you say the Toyota Camry is reliable?
- Extremely
Does it get good gas mileage and is it spacious?
- Yes and yes
I'm also eyeing the Honda Accord and Civic as well.
- Civic is a lot smaller, Accord is great as well.
With all things considered, would you go with a Toyota Camry, Honda Accord or Honda Civic?
- Most likely the Camry. I love the ride. The Accord tends to tune towards the sport side of things....not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just one of many subjective things that leads a buyer from one to the other. You couldn't go wrong with either vehicle. I'd toss out the Civic, it's just too small compared to the others. Drive them both and see which you prefer.

I have a 2001 Toyota Camry and on 10/5 I will also purchase a 2007
Incredible ride, stylish and the car is completely reliable.
Not one single problem with my 2001, and I will continue to drive it.
Gas mileage is decent and it has more room than the Honda Civic or Accord.
You will not be disappointed with Toyota. I am just sorry I did not get one sooner

Well my parents had a 89. The car has a great reputation. I think it is still the number one selling car in America. Very roomy and great gas mileage especially for a six cylinder. You can definitely expect great quality from Toyota. I would go with a Toyota Camry over a Honda any day, but then again my mom works for Toyota.
go to www.toyota.com and at the top click on Camry
Hope everything works out well for you.

as much as i love Toyota, I personally think the new Camry is ugly. However, it IS a Toyota so it is going to be VERY reliable, it gets GREAT gas mileage and is fast! My parents have an '05 Camry with the 4 cyl and i stil beat a lot of other cars when i drive it. (only when i dont take my car) They got the Camry only after their 1980 Carolla Wagon died with 455,426 miles on it. ORIGINAL engine! I also used to have a Honda Accord and it died with 120k so I would get the Toyota! good luck with your choice!

Good Question-
The Toyota and Honda come under one class. So its this way:
Toyota Corolla vs Honda Civic
Toyota Camry vs Honda Accord.
Also see the 2007 Accord. I think you should go in for it.

Can't go wrong with a Camry. I just sold my '98, and it never once failed me. Although, Honda Civic in another wonderful car. It's a toss up. I still have to go with the Camry, but I'm biased.
*GREAT on gas mileage.

The Camry has a real good reputation.
Just don't get a Scion.
Honda Accords and Honda Civics are gas friendly.

Go with the Toyota Camry. It's reliable. I've had a 1999 since and it's still going strong. Although Honda's are good too. Try for more research on edmunds.com

Go with the Accord. The '07 Camry not only has been restyled, but it's a brand new model, and didn't fare as well as the previous one. There's less cabin and trunk room, a slightly harsher ride, and more interior noise than the '06 model. Steering feel is a bit numb, too, something that Honda would never allow.
