I was born into Christianity and it was one of the worst situations of my life. Now that I can choose whether or not to believe (and I don't) I am a very happy person. My only gripe is that "God" was embedded into my brain and at certain times I feel like I'm being watched. It's very frustrating.
I don't believe in Heaven/Hell, the devil or other "demons" so nobody is leading me into any kind of temptation. Religion is for the weak-minded who need stories of reassurance for their simple existence.

A relationship with Christ is not a religion. Relationship is not fantasy when both in the relationship respond to each other. Maybe you just have not actually tried relationship with Jesus all he wants is your love and trust , which in return becomes your savior and king giving you love, trust, and provision. It usually happens slowly in an evolved form like any relationship, deeper love creates deeper relationship, more communication creates closeness and more privileges.
Just because the world has problems and we don't always get what we want doesn't mean that God doesn't exist,...we humans make our own mistakes he didn't make these decisions that screwed up society. We make our realities with our God given power of thoughts, then our realities clash with each others thoughts, whether they are negative thoughts or positive thoughts they create our reality. Jesus taught us to be of love, patience, kindness, and to be meek for good reason because if we being of love we would not have selfish thoughts that create our negative realities. Alls it takes is some unwavered positive thoughts, faith , and patience to change your world friend. please give Jesus a chance he is a wonderful friend who has helped me out in countless ways he is one that you can trust and give much wisdom unconditionally.

Men of Old like Noah and Abraham, were men of faith not religion. The Old Testament is a record of that faith and fulfillment of God's promises. Religion is a modern system of how man interprets the faith history. Give God a chance. Find a group that you can have open discussions with and share your doubts with. You might be surprised.

I don't share these feelings, although at one time I did. But even then, I did not refer to the life choices of others as lies, fairy tales or made-up fantasy.

Not now, I've pretty much completely arrived at the conclusion. But 20 years ago, yeah -- was raised in a religious family, was very active in church, even did a mission. But I always had doubts, and as I learned more I learned the reasons for those doubts -- and they were good reasons. Tossed out the god myth a long time ago, and my life's been better ever since :)

Not me. I find my opinion of religion worsening almost continuously, but as to whether or not God exists, that's a separate issue.

I still believe in Christianity, just not the people that claim to have frequent conversations with God.

Heck no! Every day I become closer to God and I find myself more devote to my religious faith. (Catholic) When I read things here from non-believers, I gain more certainity of God's existence. The devil uses the non-believers to get to us believers. The devil always find the weak (in faith) and uses them to his advantage. God find our (believers) weaknesses and uses them to our advantages, making us stronger in the end. Non-believers will always try to persuade me but they will never catch me. I will die believing in God and the Church. It's the weak that will sway.

it is your interpretation and your understanding of what is and what is not. we are not here to preach one way or the other but give you an honest assessment. yours is changing as you have stated --my belief in the existence of the supreme -- is stable. it is here, it was here and it will stay here. true from time to time there are ups and downs in the psyche of mankind for events that happen or don't happen -- i can not and will not explain all. to answer your last question-- no i am not like that. belief is belief is belief. you have it or you don't.
