The word universe comes from two Latin words; uni which means "single", and verse, which means "spoken sentence". So universe means "single spoken sentence". In Genesis 1:3, god said "Let there be", and here we are.

Doesn't this make a lot more since than all that big bang mumble jumble?

Except your etymology is wrong. It comes for "uni" for "one" and "versus," meaning "turned" (not "spoken"). It comes from the latin word "universus" which means "everything." I surmise it means all that could be surveyed in one whole turn.

The big bang theory states that the universe started form a single point, i.e., it had a beginning. If you want to ascribe the big bang to God's spoken sentence, then that is okay with me(I do), if you want to try to come up with another mechanism for the creation or the eternity of matter, I think that you have to stretch things. If you say that the Big Bang and Genesis 1:3 are mutually exclusive, I think you are being unnecessarily dogmatic. The Big Bang is not an anti-Christian theory, there is no reason that a Christian needs to be anti Big Bang.

God created this universe and made it a home for the creatures. So that the creatures might pay thanks to God through worship and obedience and in turn they might receive God’s blessings.

Universe is a creation of God and behind it____ is God’s Almightiness. God created the needs___ the needies____ and all the things of needs. God is God____ God is need-free and Absolute Holy.

God is Almighty. God creates whatsoever God wills to create. Each and every creature of God is answerable to God and God is not answerable to anyone.

If the worshippers worship God and obey Gods commandments, it makes no difference to God. But on the other side, it makes a lot of difference to the worshippers if they do not worship God as they become empty-hearted and remain empty-hearted until and unless they resort to God.

If the sinners sin and disobey God, it makes no difference to God but the sinful life brings a lot of difference to the sinners as the sins necessitate the curse of God.

Curse is the God ordained result of sin
While blessing is the God ordained
result of virtue.

God has already judged the sinners and the righteous, in terms of their deeds through revealing the commandments and ordaining the ways to Hell and Heaven.
Key-point to receive the blessings of God___ is to become God’s dependent by all means____ through prayers_____ and patience ____ and trust in God.
God helps and guides aright to those who ask God for God’s help and guidance.
The people who do not believe God and lead a lustful life____ are always mislead to disaster.

I can see what you mean. It is one center with infinite spokes emerging.

As for the big bang, I read in Times that scientists believe the substance as the instant of the big bang was intense heat and light, and from personal experience that is divine.

Isn't it possible that the Big Bang was God's way of creation? All that matter and energy had to come from somewhere.
