I was looking at a random website a couple of years ago when I ran across a painting that had a blue background. There was a tall, bald, male angel & a short redheaded female devil standing next to each other. I thought the website was for the Detroit Art Institute but when I tried to go to the website a week after I seen it I couldn't find the painting. I even did an engine search under "God's Nightmare" but nothing came up. I'm beginning to think maybe I dreamt this painting up. Does this painting sound familiar to anyone? Can anyone tell me who painted this? I would love to find a print. Thanks!

Hey Jules,

Check out this web site. May not be what you wanted, but it has this quote:
"God's nightmare. Being mortal would be a blessing under such circumstances."

and a picture with blue background, only one person, bald male.

Also, is it possible you heard this song "I’ve named my uterus Bridgett, after Bridgett La Fontaine; a scary French chanteuse with some freaky song called “I am god’s nightmare”. Bridgett; La Cauchemar de Dieu."

I find the irony in you thinking you may have dreamed about a nightmare.
