I am 23 and my 25 yr old brother was in a horrible automobile accident last week, and he recently passed away in the hospital while I was holding onto his hands, his wife was killed instantly. It was a very sad moment because he had a newborn son that is just 2 weeks old and he was so proud he was a father, and he had just gotten married a year ago. I was in the hospital room visiting him and he told me he didn't think he was gonna make it, he started to cry and he asked me if I could be the role model, father, and dad of his new son. and I was speechless. we had never cried in front of eachother in about 8 yrs or so, needless to say that was a very sad moment. I sobbingly told him I would be honored to be the father figure for his son and that I would take good care of him. wow, this is starting to get to me...... anyways, I told him I was going to use the restroom real quick and when I came back, 4 doctors were in his room and I ran in and grabbed his hand and he gave me a faint

squuze, before his hand went limp, I then I realized I had lost my older brother, my friend. My question is, "Is this a good made up story?"

Wow, that sucks.

This is your second post!

The first one, about 20 minutes ago was about how to turn a puppy into a drink.

You must have been so overcome with grief that you weren't thinking straight earlier.

I agree, go troll somewhere else.

Thanks for the two points!

The story is pretty sad when you think its true and it makes you want to read more but when you find out its a fake, well I lost interest so I think if it was a book it would take a lot of imagination to hold on to the readers interest. Hey but did you check out how many people thought it was real? Didn't really read the story hu?

You know there is probably someone in this world really going through this. Be careful of the things you say as you never know whats around the corner for you and your loved ones. Death and sickness isnt a joke. Its real and its painful. Show some empathy.

no you keep repeating yourself "your brother dieing" and if he were why go to the bathroom if mine were I would hold it sorry you just don't leave a family member who is dying to go wee......and yes you (the reader can assume it was sad)........father and dad same thing pick one (not needed) "anyways"no don't use.....and the sobbingly really isn't needed too many word that are unnecessary.........Just keep trying maybe use a lighter subject first and work on this now and then.....take a few classes and write a draft of ideas and go from there adding eliminating and have some one read it

Which Lifetime Movie did you plagiarize this scenario from?

The same scenario has been done again and again in works of fiction much more in depth and emotionally inspiring than yours... I give it a 1 out of 10 because most of the spelling is correct although your punctuation and syntax need a lot of work....

That was a bit cheesy... it's so cliched, so I suggest you lay off the whole holding hands until his final breath crap. That doesn't fly. I do wonder what this made-up story is for... because if it's for school, you're still pretty rough.

It's not very believable as you don't show much sorrow for your loss. Only a week ago and you're playing on the internet...I don't think so.

Not really. Too much too soon - like a Cliff Notes version of a real story.
