Last question of the night -- I'm trying to grow out my hair. What's the best way that you've found to make your hair grow faster, with herbs or oils or something?

Um that was a dumb answer...I'm 15 and definitely not planning on getting married, much less getting pregnant, for probably another decade or so. Try again.

If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called "Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth.

Yes massaging your scalp promotes circulation and that will help you hair grow faster. Vitamins that pregnant women take contain ingredients that will help your hair grow as well. If you go to a healthfood store or somewhere that sells QUALITY vitamins (not walmart or something like that, most of theirs are cut with junk) I take one that is labeled "Hair, Skin, and nails" They are all connected and if you take the pregnancy vitamins they will do the same. I see your addition, you don't have to be pregnant to take the vitamins. They won't hurt you thats for sure. But thats one of the reasons why pregnant women say their hair grows (along with a change in hormones) the vitamins.

Take prenatel vitamins (they dont hurt you if your not pregnant, but do help your hair and nails grow!) and get your hair trimmed every 3 months! Thats what i do and my hair grows all the way down to my butt! Its super thick too. Try not to use to many hair products. I only use light hair spray every once in a while and wash my hair every other day.

Speaking from a cosmetologist standpoint-- remember all your hair and finger and toenails are is dead protein cells. What you eat and your health conditions aways show up in your hair, your nails, and your toenails in approx. 6 months. So eat alot of protein and stay in good health and the results will show up in 6 to 8 months.
Good Luck!

go to GNC, they sell vitamins that r formulated for hair growth, get one that contains biotin and inosital, which makes hair grow faster. you ever hear of trimming your hair on the full moon? old wives tale, but that's the only time i cut my hair, when the moon is growing! LOL
