It honestly depends whether or not the realtionship was based on a bond or being near each other. My dad's in the army and my parents have been married for 20 years, and since my dad has been deployed, my parent's realtionship has gotten stronger.
It can only hurt a relationship if you bring outside problems into it (what's going on while he's away) or if either of you are unfaithful.
Otherwise everything should be okay. Don't worry about it, you should be confident in your relationship that it will work.

It's a catch 22! when two people are away from each other, they will most likely begin to date someone else, not everyone is like that but, they will get lonely at one point and find something in someone else.
On the other hand, if two people are away form each other, it will make them realize how much they really need each other, it would also help them realize how much love they have for one another!
Hope this helped!

I think that when there is true love between two people, than time apart does make the heart grow fonder.

It all depends on how really in love you were before he left. If you have to ask the question it makes me wonder about how you really felt in the first place.

Your love will grow stronger as well as your trust with one another. Don't despair but instead prepare yourself for his arrival.

it can go both ways, it depends on the love that you both have for each other. If one of you aren't into the other, then that's where the problems comes in at
