we'll get together every once in a while to catch up and he says that he's not dating at the moment and usually i'm not either, but I'm not even thinking about it and he brings it up and can remember every detail, do he still have feelings for me b/c I hear that guys usually don't remember details like that. What do you think?

We broke up almost 7 years ago when we were teenagers. and everytime we start relationships with other people we always connect with each other again.

He is definitley still into you. If he remembers all that and brings it up, he misses you and probably thinks about you a lot. Do you still have feeling for him though? it kinda sounds like you do, I could be wrong. Just ask yourself why you broke up and if it is something that you two could get over.

sounds like he was really impressed with that first date, keeps wanting to relive it. maybe he's not dating steady because no one lives up to that memory.
tell him that you agree, it was a great date, but it's time to move on and neither of you should use that memory to rate other people or other dates.
ask him if he just really enjoys the memory or is there more to it, did he just really enjoy dating you? does he ever think of asking you out again or is he hinting that he'd like to get back with you?

Sounds like he is, and that he had it bad for you by the first date. Some guys are even more sensitive than women. They are rare, but they do exist. They tend to treat their women very well so you might want to give it another try.

possibly she is telling you that so which you recognize what variety of issues she seem for in a guy. She likes you yet she basically does not opt to be in that style of dating she had in the previous. She opt to attempt something new. If she brings him up, it does not inevitably propose that she likes him.
