Zoloft caused my Social Anxiety Disorder too.
All SSRIs also cause Rem deprivation, which is a method of torture and causes psychosis, are you so extremely exhausted that you feel like you are just gonna drop dead, I felt like that the whole time I took the meds, and a very long time after, and am just starting to feel better almost a year since I quit all meds last thanksgiving.

It is a good step that you are taking your medication but I think you should also try (with your parents permission of course) to get some vitamin to help reduce stress in the GNC.
Try to see every day as a little challenge, now I'm 25 and have never met someone perfect, even Jesus was condemned, every person is a world with different problems, when you look at other people and think they will try to laugh at you (which I bet is not on their minds) you think about it, imagine them so small that they cannot hurt you.
It'd be great if you can find a support group in your area, remember you're not the only one going through it but sharing that with others will do lots of good.
Now there is this audio book by Louise Hay "You can heal your life" I listen to it every night even if I'm falling asleep (even better) and has helped me, I've been dealing with anxiety and panic attacks and I know how hard it can be that's why I'm sharing with you the things that have helped me and every day there are challenges but what matters is to keep trying and enjoy the small victories.
As for the girlfriend stuff, you are 14 and have your whole life ahead of you, to experience this now will make you stronger and I bet you are more sensible to others feelings too, you'll meet someone who is meant for you, those things are unpredictable and happen in a day....
Good luck.

Do not give up son. I am on medication for Anxiety Disorder, and it has helped me out for the good.
Yes, you will probably get a girl friend later on, but make sure maintain with the medication on a regular basis and keep talking to the doctor or counselor.
Do not be afraid of what other people will think of you. They are the ones that are sick thinking that way, and I am asking you to hold your head up and show them you can handle it.
Son, I wish you the best of luck in the world and you family as well.

Everything is going to be okay. There are natural remedies that can help like St John's Wart, Acupuncture, bio-feedback from trained mental health counselor... get your parents involved and you can conquer this if you want. You need to address the root of the problem instead of the symptoms(anxiety being a symptom)
One thing to remember is that most people don't care about you, and will even put you down to better themselves. It not a good way to look at it, but are you going to let these people bring you down?
I SUGGEST READING 'MEDITATIONS' BY Marcus Aurelius.

Dude, I had the same problem. Alot of things were going on in my life and I had alot of problems with my friends. I was given a few medications and I felt like they wernt working. Just try to have something every week that you look forward to and once you start to feel the anxitey just think about that. It wont make it better but it sure helps. Good Luck and in time things will get better.

I can really really understand you, Iam much much older than you, but I have fought this my entire life and it is terrible. I could not even go to get a haircut because it was to much stress, I have lost very good jobs because of it, I've ruined my family because of it, and all I can do to help is, you need some very good accomplishments in your life to give you the confidence that you are really an OK person and you are in control of yourself. I have gone to many mental health counselors that are only there for the money and don't take the time to really help you. I have been on trasadone, paxel, effexor and all these did to me was make me a zombie, all I wanted to do was sleep and sleep, two years ago I took the step to get off that stuff and it was very tuff believe me, but Iam off drugs and have said to the world, this is mine and Iam going to do what I want..and don't be shy or embarased about it, take control and be yourself, I wish I could be more help,, but don't let the world take control of you, you take control and be succesful, good luck to you...

the bible says, "i will keep him in perfect peace, who's mind is stayed on me." in other words when you concentrate on God he will give you peace. and it also says "Perfect Love cast out all fears. So walk in love and dont be fearful. And it also says "God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind." trust in him, read the bible and pray for his love and guidence.
