There are many missions oriented ministries that will accommodate your schooling. One is called Youth With A Mission, and many of its members go on short term missions trips as they are available.

Hope that helps! God bless you in your ministry!

Somewhere in the Gospels, Jesus predicts that His coming will divide families.
"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the Earth. I did not come to bring peace to the earth, but a sword. For I have come to turn
"a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter in law against her mother in law,
a man's enemies will be the members of his own household."
Your parents might not accept it at first, but in the long run they will come to respect you more for your selfless service.
Do the right thing, and in the long run you'll see, even your parents can come around. God willing. I know you do.
It's always your call. In the end, you have to live with your own decision, because you ain't Daddy's or Mama's little girl no more. Time for you to be an adult. So what's your decision going to be?
As for the obedience and honor thing, I can see an argument for your listening to them, postponing the missions for a few years till you get your degree and earn some more wisdom, skills, and well, a whole set of credentials which will not only make you a better missionary, but also bring honor to your family, enrich your life, and give glory to God.

God says honor they father and mother, not obey ever word they say. Listen to God, explain to them that this is what you feel God wants to do, and in the end, even if they still disagree, God has put you where he wants you. And be assured, I along with any other Christians would rather have God be happy with my decision than my parents. Good luck and God Bless! I'll pray for you!

God comes before anything. God got you that for to be eligible for a scholarship so do not turn your back on him. He gave you this opportunity and you should take it. Think of it as saying thank you for everything he's done for you. Your parents will have to realize everything you do and achieve is through him.

"God" calls no-one to be a missionary.
The religion that has been brainwashed in to you is a product of Semites taking Aryan original religion and falsifying it for control purposes.
The only religions that are close to the true story and ideals of the Gods are ancient, unpoisoned ones like the Vedic religions.
Missionaries are people who go out to impose (formerly through militaristic means) false religion upon common people. The Gods believe in free thought and freedom.
If you think Aryan has something to do with Nazis or white supremacy you are way off the mark, that is a perversion and misuse of ancient Aryan symbols, religion and culture.
My skin is not white but I am 100% Aryan.
Semitic religions are that of lies, perversions, suppression, subjugation and crusades. The Gods don't support or look admirably upon purveyors of false man-made religions.
Peace.

Missions are more important than sports. You can always get a government loan or grant if you fail to get a scholarship.
I would suggest getting information on government loans and grants as well as other types of scholarships you could recieve.

sounds like you are a christian living amongst the not so saved. Perhaps you have a missionary field right there in your home, cuz once they know the same God who is calling you they will not stand in His way.

Did God use the telephone, the e-mail or knock at your door?
You are going to be a missionary because you want and not because a God's call. Anyway go ahead with your plans!
