All I do is wash my face. Make sure it stays clean at all times.
Make sure it's not oily, but then again you don't want it all dried
up either. A little lotion will do. My skin is clear of pimples.
I've been like this since my teenage years. I am now 47 years
old.

Why don't you try www.Proactive.com Just go to the website and and order the kit. I don't use it because my skin doesn't need it, but I am always looking at the info about it. If I had bad skin I would definitely spend my money with them. This stuff has worked wonders for other people though, and the best thing about it is that it's very affordable. You won't have to spend a lot of money on the items either. Try this stuff because it could be the answer to your prayers. By the way this product was made by two women who are dermatologists. They have something in the kit that will help against the scars as well, and prevent future scars. Hope this helped. Good luck!!!

Genetics. Some people just have acne free skin.
If you are not one of them, wash your face twice a day with a gentle soap-free cleanser that doesn't strip all the oil off your face. Although it may seem like a good idea to strip the oil, it will back fire as your skin will just produce twice as much oil to make up for the oil you stripped off. Each night before you go to bed, after you wash your face and gently pat dry, apply a thin layer of retin-a cream that you can get from a dermatologist. The retin-a will help prevent new pimple as well as help fade the marks left by old pimples. Wear an oil-free sunscreen of at least Spf 15 everyday to prevent irritation and dark spots.
Also, stress and hormones can cause break-outs. So relax, eliminate stress, eat a balanced diet, and get enough sleep. And finally, keep your hands off your face. This will keep you from introducing bacteria to your face and causing more pimples.

If you don't have money for expensive treatments and products, try working from the inside out -- eating well and getting enough sleep and LOTS of water. Alcohol and cigarrette smoking can do a number on skin's hydration, tone, color and elasticity, too. I cut out caffeine for a little while and ate healthier and I definitely noticed a difference. And, in the shower or bath -- once your skin is soft and well-steamed -- try exfoliating with your fingers. Getting the dead skin off has a great effect on keeping skin clear and glowing.
If you do have a coupla bucks (but not a fortune), try Proactiv for acne (I have no affiliation with the company, but I have friends who SWEAR by it) and Origins for pure products with good ingredients that won't break the bank!
And BELIEVE your skin to be beautiful and clear -- believe it or not it makes a difference. In pictures, I have noticed that when I'm stressed or unhappy, my skin looks awful, but when I'm relaxed and happy, it looks positively radiant!! Ah...the power of thought...;)

Home remedies work the best on problem skin(less chemicals) there are several natural remedies you can use like 1. tea tree oil 2. wash your face with cold water instead of hot. 3. Lemon juice of a natural astringent for face. 4. Using a all natural/herbal soap to wash your face. Why cover up the problem when you can treat it.

try neutrogena products. this line of skin care can be found at any walgreens or your local drug store it is very inexpensive you can get neutrogena bar soap for the face for about $3and cream cleansers starting at about the same price ,the cream cleansers as well as moisturizers are for all skin types (dry normal or combination skin types ,even acne prone skin)some of the moisturizers even have sun block in them! whatever your skin problem is neutrogena has a product that can take care of it.try not to use regular soap on the face it dries out the skin, also do not use regular body lotion on the face it has ingredients that block the pores in the face that cause breakouts like lanolin and petrolium(check the back of your lotion bottle first if you prefer to use regular body lotion to moisturize your face.)

Drinking alot of water helps and use a gentle soap that won't dry your skin. Also make sure all make-up is off your face before going to sleep.Use a moisturizer before going to bed.
