You should refrain from using the word everybody. The only people that hate are those who are unable to explain their difference of opinion. Hate is the attempt of a feeble mind to justify their insecurities.

I think people have forgotten so quickly and so easily 9-11 and those planes hitting the towers, and you would think that would be enough for people to open their eyes to the threats that this country is in and how he is trying to protect us,but still you don't want the Mexico wall, were anyone can come threw and blow up who knows what or who,you all whine about the airport security, because its inconvenant,....wawa...every single step he has made the Democrats have been on his heels like wolfs after a rabbit,he cant talk right ,everything he does is put under ,literally, a microscope and picked apart like a bunch of vultures...what is wrong with you people,if he hadn't been as tough as he has been we would have already been hit again, open your eyes and and see whats going own ,yea its falling apart but how much have we all worked to keep it from falling apart, when everyone keeps kicking them down, and if you look hard enough at everyone in those offices you will find some skeletons,a lot scarier that the ones found in the last 2 week. This is Viet Nam all over again and worse, how could we let this happen again,if we don't support our president and troops, and stand up for this country, someone will step in an take it away and it want be no ones fault but our own

You said it yourself that you are not a politics person. If you were you would see that he has lowered the bar for being President. He has cost this country a record number in deficit, thousands of American lives for a personal vendetta against a tyrant who tried to assassinate his father once but had nothing to do with September 11. You obviously think that Iraq had something to do with 9/11. With the help of his daddy who was once head of the CIA, former Vice President to Reagan, and President stole the election that made him President in the first place. He and his buddies have made billions of dollars on the Iraqi invasion and we haven't even accomplished anything except capturing Saddam. Whoopi Doo! Meanwhile genocide continues in other parts of the world where there are no oil fields and we do nothing. Well we didn't even find any Weapons of Mass Destruction yet. If it weren't for his speech writers he wouldn't have a clue as to what to say. Bush is the fodder of every late night comedy show. Many Republicans don't want anything to do with him and you want to defend him? You've been in the dark so long you can't see the light.

If you really must know why people claim to hate Bush. It's because he chose to retaliate when we were attacked. Yes, we might have had warnings, but if you look back you will find that those warnings were not all that clear, also to be truthful about it, the warnings started coming in before Bush was in office. People will always turn against their leader when things don't go the way they want them to. What the American people need to realize is that there is a lot more information that the president gets on these matters so that he can make the best possible opinion on the problems at hand. Yes, I was upset when gas prices shot up like they did, but I also realize that with war and natural disasters that was bond to happen. I live in the area affected by Katrina, and it drives me up a wall when people say that Bush didn't give aid fast enough. They need to realize that New Orleans did not request Federal aid immediately like the other places did, and the Federal government won't just jump in if they are not asked. Also Bush had absolutely no say in the matter, that was left entirely up to the director of FEMA. On 9/11 everyone was hit hard by the reality that we could be and were attack on our soil, if the decision were yours wouldn't you want to retaliate on behalf of all those who lost their lives for a meaningless attack? Wouldn't you want to give those who lost loved ones the peace of knowing that we will bring justice to those responsible for the death of their loved ones? Media has always and will always try to make our leaders out to be evil, because the drama of thinking that our government is trying to munipulate us makes their ratings appear better. If you believe that our President is worth supporting then by all means support him. But keep in mind that if you do not support our Commander in Chief then you do not really support our service men and women who are fighting everyday to preserve our freedoms that we so richly enjoy and to keep everyone here at home safe. I am Active Duty with the US Air Force, and I will be going overseas and I believe that we need to finish this fight or all we are doing is bringing it home with us. You may agree with me you may not, those are the freedoms that I am willing to fight for you to keep.

Everyone hates Bush?
That's exactly what Kerry thought - up to the night he got badly beat at the voting poles.
Don't believe the question-poles either, only those who are dissatisfied care to take them.
Don't believe that the Democrats are a shoe-in. Don't believe what you think is the obvious will become fact.
Any opinion you have on the U.S. politics should be flexible and bend like straw, not rigid and break like a toothpick. Freedom if speech is a great way to "bend".

What does being on break from Hollister have to do with anything, and why can't you ask a question without loading it up with all your preconceptions? You claim not to be a "poitics" (whatever the h*ll that means) and then rap the man hard. If you want to pose a fair question, you'd have at least mentioned one positive point about him instead of the crap you integrated into your position. You don't want to defend him. Your mind is already made up and you're screamin' for an audience of Bush-bashers like yourself.

Not everybody hates our president. Some think he is doing a sterling job. Others don't see it that way.
Some believe that he and his administration didn't do all they could have to prevent 9/11. Some believe (with justification) that the war with Iraq was started under false pretenses. Some object to the domestic spying and the treatment of prisoners taken in the name of the war.
Some object to the tight ties he has to the religious right, and that his Faith Based Initiative programs cater to the churches that support his viewpoints to the exclusion to most others.
He is outspokenly anti-gay, anti-pagan, and anti-liberal. So, some dislike him and his policies for quite valid reasons. There are actually many more reasons than this, but I think it's a good start.

ok - what do you mean no more democrats????
that's over 50 percent of the population right now....
No, you should not defend him. You don't know enough about politics to do him any favors... it is fine for you to just say "He is my President and I respect him."
But you must be prepared for people to throw alot of reasons NOT to like him at you.... and most of them have nothing to do with gas PRICES....
People who are dying of AIDS in America are wondering why he cut their Ryan White Funding in half to give AIDS money to Africa.... he is not the President of Africa and Bono is already handling it....
Most of our taxes are going to build nuclear weapons to trade with the very nations that we are afraid of.... and nothing toward education....
This is not all Bush's fault but he is a symbol of the Republican agenda at this point.... and some Republicans don't want him speaking for them either.

not too busy there at Hollister, are ya? i agree with babs and rabble, and all the others here making some sense.....he is indeed a buffoon.......even you would admit that if you looked at him just a little bit closer. he is the self appointed "Decider" and is trying to take over the world....he has thumbed his nose at the government, the way the government is supposed to be, and does not care. he is marching men and women off the face of the earth, we will never know how many people we have lost in his war......never.
he has made himself into an Autocrat, that tends to piss people off, that makes people not like him.....if you wanna rant and rave....start at the top....this fish stinks from the head down.

Called the Military Commissions Act of 2006, the bill abandons the Geneva Convention (formed after Hitler's atrocities in WWII), legalizes the torture of U.S. citizens, suspends all civil rights for prisoners and allows the President to declare virtually anyone to be an "enemy combatant" -- artists, writers, scientists, protestors or anyone who does not agree with the pro-war stance of the current regime.
It would also retroactively grant blanket immunity to all U.S. military personnel who have committed war crimes under the Geneva Convention. Such immunity would extend to present and future war crimes as well. In other words, the United States will now officially harbor and support war criminals. In the context of international law, the United States is effectively declaring itself to be a criminal state that will respect no international law.
Just as frighteningly, the new Act would utterly nullify the courts and make it illegal for the judicial branch of government to interfere with the imprisonment and torture of anyone, thus affecting a dangerous power shift from the judicial branch of government to the executive branch.
Hitler followed the same strategy in centralizing his own power, and by nullifying the courts while taking over the media, he was able to propagandize his war, arrest all dissenters, and concentrate power in his own hands. The ultimate result was an unjust war and a humanitarian disaster that haunts the world to this day.
The United States is now firmly on the same path. These are dark times for our nation, and future historians will no doubt look upon this historic vote as the trigger that thrust the United States into a full-fledged police state, complete with secret arrests, government spying on citizens, and the mysterious "disappearance" of those who dared to speak out against the dictator.
