You could try a little bit of backing soda and Salt with a little water to make a paste dont scrub to hard as the salt will be abrasive and you dont want to hurt the floors... then blot dry as best you can and let it try a good 3-4 hours before you walk on it... should get the smell out.... worked with cat pee when i was younger my mom uses it for ever thing hehehe good ol' mum

I just moved into a house where the 5 animals hadn't been let outside to "go" in 2 years. The only thing that worked was a sealer paint called kilz. You will unfortunately loose the natural wood finish, but it is cheaper than a new floor. It is the same think that insurance companies use when repairing smoke damage in a house. It just seals in the smell. This is what to do when nothing else works, and you don't want to rip the floor up.

For sparkling stains on hardwood flooring, first wipe off the stain. next, take care of the wood with a commercial cleansing product or a house made answer utilising ammonia or vinegar. Stains that have been allowed to dry on hardwood, somewhat urine stains, are plenty harder to eliminate and many times require substantial artwork. you may could desire to strip and re-stain the section.

Sand down and refinish the floor and the odor should be gone. (I am assuming the urine has penetrated the wood itself. If not, many of the suggestions already listed will work.)

It's nearly impossible. I moved into a house that had that problem in one of the bedrooms (cat pee). I had to pull the wood and replace it with new wood. I tried ALL the formulas and nothing worked. If you find something, then let me know for future use.
