i mean gas prices raise and all hell freezes over, yet the koreans test a nuke, and there people dont even know it? i mean come on?

The sources from N korea (the media) just announced its intention to test their nuclear missiles and so far "they" say have done so twice. That tiny obsucre SOB is seeking attention from father Bush. Apparently, he forgot to tend this black sheep in predicament.

It seems obvious from seizmic sensors which the USA have that North Korea carried out some type of explosion, although it is yet to be determined if it was nuclear, it did measure as a 4.3 magnitude earthquke.
This means that it was indeed a large explosion.
If the UN, China and USA have any balls they will impose sanctions immediatly to brink North Korea to it's knees.
It is known that North Korea do have missiles capable of reaching the USA and Japan, however it has yet to be determined if they would make it with the added weight of a nuclear warhead.
Hopefully sanctions and trade embargos will soon bring Korea to it's knees, if they are imposed by the UN and Mr Bush of the USA.

The North Koreans just tested a couple of nuclear weapons, and the whole world is coming down on them hard. It's possible that there might be hell to pay for the North Koreans if they don't stop.

Well, let's see. First we aren't sure if Korea actually launced their weapon. It could be a bunch of TNT. Secondly the world is condemning what they did (if they did it). Thirdly, Kim Jong is busy with his porn, his one hundred and some off play houses filled with Senior high school girls divided into three categories: sex, singing and dancing. Fourth, the Security Council is going to vote at the end of the week whether to apply sanctions to North Korea.

Nothing new. There are many other countries with the bomb. It appears that they want to be the only ones with the bomb. Now only if these major powers would use their energies to be truly peaceful, nobody would have anything to worry about.
