I can't see the point in having a sauna unless you're nude!
The idea of a sauna is to open the pores of your skin to allow the sweat to clean out the dirt in your skin. If you're wearing clothes that can't happen.

I do not believe that it would be appropriate for you to go into your building's sauna without some type of clothing. Especially if persons under the age of seventeen have access to it.

No, I don't think so unless it's a private sauna. If they are men only, or women only, then I'd see what the other people wear. If others are nude then it's probably okay.

Unless it is a sauna that has men's and women's sections - you could risk having a charge of indecency/exposure. However, I'm sure your building has rules in place for sauna usage. That's what you have to abide by.

I would check with the establishment that provides the use of the sauna. Rules differ place to place.

No if it is used by other people at all you should not be nude. Others dont want to see your willy hanging out! No matter what time of day or night... at least have some shorts on!!

no it is not appropriate, aside from that it is also unhygienic, esp. since other people use the sauna as well.

That depends. If you live in Scandinavia then sure, hang loose. If you live in the States; not appropriate. Unless you are really, really hot and very in-shape (think olympic sprinter), your neighbors do not want to see you naked. Plus think of it in the reverse, do you really want to sit where your neighbor's naked bum has been?
Be a considerate neighbor. Wear swim trunks.

I believe that in your own how, you can do what you like; however, if surrounded by other people, you should cover yourself, it is called decency; you might not care but some people might be offended ...etc

can't you just wear some loose shorts? myself, i think there's NOT ENOUGH nudity in the world! but some people might feel uncomfortable and might as well be nice.
