God walked the Earth in the form of Christ, and as foretold man crucified him in the flesh. Dead were raised many many miracles and He still was executed. My point being, where is your faith. Faith is believing in something you can not see, or hold in your hand, yet you know it is there and exists. You may say you need proof but without Him living inside you and you are or were touched by the Holy spirit, you contest and fight. You may say all the evil in the world is proof that He does not exist, but yet we agree evil lives in mankind all over the world, doesn't it? You can take any man with no education, religion or any outside influence and he still has a conscious of good and evil, right or wrong, explain where does that come from? I know he exist for I felt His spirit in me and my acts have enhanced others and made perhaps a tiny difference in their lives. You can be wealthy and have all the material things you can buy, or love the fight for power and fame and there lies perhaps your faith, and that is proof enough to you that God does not exist, but tell me, what if you are wrong?

Dear skunkgrease, I would first like to apoligize because the answer I have is not a very short one. Why do I belive in God? three reasons I belive in God explained breifly as follows........
First off, I would like to say that I dont belive in atheist, you probably think Im crazy by now, but my unbelife is based on good reasoning. To say there is no God is to say that you have enough Knowldege to know there is no God. but an atheist could never have enough knowledge to be certain there is no God. You would technically have to know everything and be omniscent, because if there is something or anything outside of your realm of knowledge, that something could include God. an atheist would have to beverywhere, in and out of the universe all at one time, because if there is anywhere you canot be, God could be there. sceintifically we Know less than one millionth of a percent of all the knoiwledge in the universe. know one can claim absolute knowledge, therefore atheism is self refuting. being everywhere and knowing every thing is to be Like God. and since know one can prove there is no God, the question becomes irrelevant and so does athiesm. and on top of that regarding the possible existnece of God, creation can not be ruled out as a possibility, which leads to my next point. if you see a buiding, how do you know there was a buider? the buiding is evuidence there was a buider, now, you have never met the buider, touched the buider or smetl the buider, but does that mean he never existed? of course not! the buiding is ample evidence. the same way with a painter and a painting and a watchmaker and a watch. neither the watch or the painting could have come about without a creator. Now,I want you to strech your brain, and try to think of any explosion that has created order. does a terrorist Bomb create Harmony? Big bangs cause chaos. Now How could a Big bang create apple trees with perfectly ripe fruit for eating, the sunsets, birds and anomals with intmate detilles such as fish and birds? even a child can see that there is grand design in creation.
But heres my most important Point.
The BIble says there will be a day of Judgement, the Ten Commandments wil be Gods standard, so lets look at a few to see how you will do on judgement day.....
Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we’ve only looked at three of the Ten Commandments. if there is a God and he Judged you by this standard would you be innocent or guitly? listen to your conscience you know you would be guilty, you knew it was wrong when you lied and stole ect. the Bible says you will be without excuse, and the punishment for your sin is death and Hell. But, despite the fact that you deserve hell, God has done somewthing magnificent. He sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name, so repent(turn from sin) and put your full faith and trust in Jesus alone to save you. if you will do this, you will know Gopd personaly and have his eternal forgiveness and eternal life. you wont simply have blind faith or a beliefe. you wil move from the realm of belife into the realm of experience.
God Bless

I'm an agnostic, so I think if you're looking to prove or disprove God's existence, you're out of luck. Instead of proof, let me give you what is to me the most convincing evidence for the existence of God that I've found in my 40+ years.
My take on the evolution of religion is that the first thing that happened after the first human decided that God existed was that they asked him/her for something. Following that they probably thanked God for something they had gotten - success on the hunt, a healthy child, an abundant harvest. While I'm not a big believer in asking God for stuff I think this idea of being grateful for what we receive seems superior to the atheistic view that we get what we get from a combination of our own effort and the arbitrary workings of the universe. To feel gratitude implies the belief that the universe is not arbitrary, but that there is within it something to be grateful to, something referred to in the old days as Divine Providence - an unseen actor with the intent and ability to do things for us.
That, to me, is the essence of religion. I consider all the the arguments about dogma (one, three or a thousand gods; Q'uran or Bible, etc.) to be a waste of time, but just as I determine for myself what is sufficient evidence to believe what I believe, others have every right to do this for themselves as well, and if that makes them Christians or Muslims or atheists, that's fine by me.

Imaginations, huh? You're such a foolish coward. I'll explain this so even a feeble minded limpy like you can understand it. If you want to make a cake, you need to put together ingredients, right? So where did the original ingredients come from? Did they just always exist? Not only do I believe in God, I'm smart enough to know that the being that created all of this, this universe, this consciousness, the planets and all the other beings that inhabit them (yes, I said them) is so far beyond the comprehension of us meer mortals that we inexscapably waste our time attempting to imagine what a being like this will be like when we someday meet HER.

I believe in God because he exists and helps me when i am in difficulties. That the help comes in most unexpected form or source is the proof that God exists. God exists in every one of us . The non believer is like a person with his eyes closed and says there is nothing in this world as i can see nothing. Open the eyes and you will be able to see the creation. Your inner eye has to open to see the god with in you.

I was raised an Atheist/Satanist/Wiccan (Anything not GOD) etc etc for 30 Years. I was so arrogant I couldn't even stand myself. I made fun of all the ignorant mindless gullible sheep who trudge out a boring life sending their money to some snake charming tongue babbling idiot. But I knew there was something true out there and I wanted to find it. One night I was outside having a cigarette on Christmas break and I had a thought. "All I want for Christmas is to find actual truth." I head an answer back and I knew it wasn't me. It was "Merry Christmas Lance." It was Jesus. I knew who it was and I knew what it meant. It still freaks me out. After all those years looking for some sort of supernatural thing I found it in my back yard smoking a cigarette. Who would of thought? Oh well. You asked. I answered.
May GOD richly bless you.
