How do I tell if she likes me?

It's easy to tell if a guy likes a girl
1) he will focus all his attention on her
2) He will try to make her laugh
3) He tries to spend all his time on her
4) The guy gives the girl gifts and coughs up money so the girl can buy something.

It is easy to identify if a guy likes a girl, but since girls are a whole lot more complicated. I can't figure out if she is sharing the same feelings as I have or not.
Ever since about Mid may to Mid June, my friend, Natalie, has been acting strangely around me. We spent the schoolyear just as good friends.
I really didn't give her special attention. I just let her borrow my jacket on the cold days and bought her a drink after a hot day.
I didn't notice how I felt about her until after I paid for her ticket and mine to a school dance. I want to know if she shares the same feelings as I do for her. I don't want to just go up and ask her out because that may harm the strong friendly bond I have with her already. Please help

lyssaflin has brought something up. Yes she does find a way to touch me. She does things like poke me unexpectedly when I'm in the hallways, slings her arm around me after an exhausting physical training period and stuff like that. If it is of use to the rest of the answers.

IF she keeps responding to all you do. Then its safe to say she likes you.

Does she find reasons to touch you, like on the arm? Does she stare at you for long periods of time, and when she does, do her pupils dialate ( sounds funny I know but that's a medical fact.)
If she is willing to let you see her in sweats then you're probably stuck in the friend zone. Or if she asks your advice on what to do with her boyfriend.
However, if she looks at you in a way that makes your bones melt, then there is a good bet that she has at least some intrest.
Just approach her very carefully. Tell her how you feel. Honestly no matter how real and down to earth a woman is, there is a small part of us that love it when a man tells us how they feel

if a girl likes a guy she would compliment a guy on his clothing hair ect. , laugh at his jokes even if they are stupid, treat the guy differently as in more attention and is much nicer, twirls their hair/bat the eyelashes at you, kinda touches you when she talks..
i guess you can say its pretty similar to what a guy would do if he likes a girl. if you wanna ask her out i suggest you say, "hey whats up i think your a really cool person and i was wondering if you wanted to hang out this weekend." if she says no then say, "oh well i understand, i dont want our friendship to be ruined over this anyway" if she says yes then be happy! You have to ask her. If she likes you that way she will go out with you. Also if she just wants to be friend please accept that. Female friends whom you are not romanticly involved with are very valuable and should be treasured.
