What was her life like, outside of the horror she must have endured in the bedroom?

Is there any real historical documentation of what her life was like? How long did she live?

The poor, poor dear! And shame on her family who handed her over, most likely so they could enjoy the prestige of the royal family for themselves, and or not lose their own heads.

oh come on... technicalities! The question was not so much about which order she was in his long line of wives, but that she was a CHILD.

So if you want to deflect the issue of PEDIPHILIA onto the fact that I misunderstood the child to have been his first wife, then this shows that you too are wanting to remain in denial about the CHILD ABUSE committed by this so-called prophet of yours.

Just answer the question already! Unless you don't have an answer, and in that case, sit back and be quiet.

Sources differ as to whether six-year-old Aisha was Mohammed's first wife, but most agree she was six when Mohammed married her and nine when her marriage was consummated, and that Mohammed was 53 at the time! Some Mohammedans claim that this is not true, but some give it is an excuse for marrying nine-year-old girls.

Aisha was the daughter of Abu Bakr, said to be Mohammed's first convert.

Here are some of the comments about Aisha from Muslim sources:

Aisha remarked, "It seems to me that your Lord hastens to satisfy your desire." Sahih Muslim vol.2:3453-3454 p.748-749.

Aisha was Abu Bakr's daughter. She married Mohammed when she was (six) 6 years old, went to his house when (nine) 9. Bukhari vol.7:88 p.65; Sahih Muslim vol.2:3309,3310,3311 (p.715,716)

Aisha played with dolls while Mohammed was present. Sahih Muslim vol.4:5981 p.1299

Mohammed himself once deliberately struck Aisha "on the chest which caused me pain". according to Sahih Muslim vol.2:2127.

Aisha was quick-tempered, striking the hand of a servant and breaking a bowl of food from another wife for Mohammed. Abu Dawud vol.2:3560-3561 p.1011

Aisha had a strong, loud voice. al-Tabari vol.17 p.65

Aisha had many slaves.

Poor you. From where you got all of these wrong information. She (Aisha) was his second wife not first. She was the most happy women on earth as she told of herself. Her age of marriage was not confirmed but it was not much lower than the usual of the traditions at that era all over the world and not only in Arabia. There were no royal family in Islam ever. And her life with Mohammed (SAAW) was a mix of hardship and happy moments. Mohamed (SAAW) never ordered anyone to be killed especially for such a silly reason like the one you are suggesting (if her family refused to let him marry her). I will not refer you to a muslim site but to the
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aisha
which mention more or less accurate details and discussion about here. Please try to read with open mind and do not be shy to apologize for your ignorance. We know that media and propaganda are so strong in the world trying to disfigure Islam by any mean even by inventing lies. peace.

i did no longer understand that on the grounds that I fairly understand a element approximately Islam, actually. i'm a liberal Catholic, and Christianity is what i understand maximum approximately. Edit to Dollface: i'm uncertain if that became a slam against me, as i became in basic terms telling the fact. i understand many stuff approximately different cultures. i admire history and getting to know approximately different international places' histories. i became in basic terms telling the fact on the grounds that i understand the easy tenets of Islam, yet no longer plenty approximately Mohammed.

Don't know the answer to that. But I seen one guy on here defending Mohammad, and he said the girls Father was still alive, when Mohammad took her as his wife, and the girl wanted to be his wife. Come on get real....she was six years old. That's a baby. How could she possibly know what she wanted at six years old. I hope you get the answers your looking for.

I'm deaply sorry for you ignorance .. Aisha was not the first wife for Muhammad (sas) .. he remained for 20 years married to one woman 15 years older then him.

As for Aisha she was the daughter of his closest companion and the first Calif (Abu Bakr) .. she was the most important teacher of islam after the death of the prophet (sas) .. she died 45 years after him

May God bless you my dear little brother or little sister.
Try to get information from authentic source instead of just propaganda sources.

The lady you are talking about was not the first wife of Prophet (pbuh).

The correct age for marriage for women or a man is when they reached to puberty.

I belongs to western country. What is happening here, most of our puberty reached girls and boys are not marrying to avoid liabilities but involved in extensive alleged sex activities. Rapes became norms of our so called modern society. Just look arround in schools ( I am not considering yet colleges and unversities), see your self. You will get your answer, what you missed, not getting correct information and true teachings of Islam.

Mother of Ummah Aysha ( ra ) lived after 40/45 years the demise of Prophet. She was one of the authentic source of knowledge for Muslims after Prophet. People from distance used to come getting knowledge from companions of prophet. And as I said She was one of the Authentic source of information about what Prophet said and act on deferent occasions. She died with natural causes. ( May god pleased with her)

Muhammad(pbuh) did not founded Islam. Islam was taught by Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (Peace be all of them) as well. Muhammad(pbuh) used to to say "I am slave of Allah ( God Almighty). Muslim means who submit his or her self conpletely to God Almighty ( Allah ).

You want to find out how and why I am calling them Prophet of Islam? Try to visit following:

http://www.beconvinced.com
http://www.irf.net

If you are not interested that is your choice. Jesus (pbuh) tried his best how many faith full he won in his presence? Yes some cowards who were watching humiliation. But He (pbuh) preached truth. It is your choice you take it or not.

May God Almighty give wisdom to you, me and every one to under stand true teachings of Almighty. Almighty who sent Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (pbuh), for our guidance.(Ameen)

My advice to all, respect all Prophets and religious figures, does 'n matter what is your faith, specially my Muslim Brothers and sisters do not involve cursing respectfull personalities. Respect all faith, try to spread truth instead of spreading hatred and differences.

Showing your desrespect to any one does not going to hert that individual but we will be get punished by all Almighty.
