here in minnesota we call it pop. what do you call it pop or soda??

I know this is odd but in Alabama we call it drink, as in: "Do you have any drinks?"

I'm originally from NY and have always called it soda. Ive done a lot of traveling and have it heard it called...pop...and soder (Maine). In the south...Coke is called co cola and here in KS they call it soda pop. So...depends where you live.

When we were kids in the 60's we heard the term soda pop. Now you hear all various terms

Here in northeastern Ohio we have always called it pop, but I am beginning to hear soda more often. I'm not sure why.

Originally from Indiana, it's pop. Now living in Georgia and these crazy people all everything a Coke...even if it's an orange pop.

I live in British Columbia and I call it pop...although soda is technically correct also and can be understood, just don't hear it used that often!

I grew up in Wisconsin well called it pop but i moved to NC when I was 17 and here its Coke...lol

does not mater if you say " i need a coke" and you go to the store and get a tea, Dr Pepper or Water...Its a coke...or in those days and RC
but for me its a "drink"...I go get a Drink

In Tennessee and most of the southeast it is called Coke. Occasional people might call it Pepsi, but no matter what brand name or flavor you want you say coke. Like I might ask my friend if he wants a coke, and if he says yes I will ask what kind.

Pop, soda, softdrink - it depends on where you are from but it is all the same thing.
