Nothing wrong with calling a douchebag a douchebag. If that is what he really is, then how is it your fault? Maybe he should try NOT being a douchebag for a day or two if he doesn't like being called one.

I don't think you should be disciplined. It is all accourding to the rules of the church though. If you signed up and are a member, you need to do as they ask. My suggestion...find another church that is not as leagalistic and fundamental- find a church that let's you be yourself and work through these issues.

The language was certainly inappropriate, even if he is a douchebag. Certainly, you didn't turn the other cheek. Now I have no idea what denomination you are in, so cannot apply any church rules to the situation, but my take on it is if they chastise you for inappropriate behavior, you have it coming. Go forth and sin no more.

you called your nebighor what and you call your self, a true church goerr?? what on earth is wrong with your head you should be totally downe right angry with yourself, when you go back and show up in that church all eyes will be gawking at you shame and little old ladies in t that vhurch will gosip over you al the old bities hons!! i would quuit the church you might now be just hated there and this is your neboghor too shame on you hons!!

Change churches. Your mistakes are between you and God, not you and Church. But ya prolly shouldnt have said that ya know. Well, maybe you should have, cause they might have deserved it lol.
