That would mean evaporated milk which is milk that has had the equivalant volume of water removed (evaporated) and then canned. It can be used in any recipe calling for whole fresh milk.

Usually it means evaporated milk. If its a dessert recipe it might be sweetened condensed, but I'd go with evaporated.

canned milk would be the evaporated milk. the sweetened/condensed milk would be used for desserts. hope this little bit of info helps.
