go buy one of those old fashing suction bulbs that they use for babies. Put some fairly warm water in a basin and suck up some water in the bulb. Hang your head over the basin and flush out your ear. You may have to do it a LOT of times in order to get it flushed out. But it will work. We have to do it to my best friends son all the time and that is what the doctor told us to do.

Try one of these beeswax candles from the health food store, be sure to have someone blow into it slightly to get a bit of warm smoke into the ear canal to help loosen the clog. You might try a hair dryer at far range instead (be careful not to light yer-self of fire but then again that would eventually loosen any clog). It sounds like you ruptured your eardrum though, but never fear, I think it grows back after a week or so anyways(better ask a Doc on that one). Another idea is a couple drops of peroxide, or a mix of 1 oz. vinegar and 1 tsp. alcohol but Not the mix "and" the peroxide at same time. Next time try an ear wax removal kit 1st!
Only use Q-tips for drying the outer ear canal, not dig for gold.

Earwax is also called cerumen.

"Excessive cerumen may impede the passage of sound in the ear canal, causing conductive hearing loss. It is also estimated to be the cause of 60 - 80% of hearing aid repairs.[14] As mentioned above, movement of the jaw helps the ears' natural cleaning process, so chewing gum and talking can both help. If this is insufficient, the most common method of cerumen removal by general practitioners is syringing (used by 95% of GPs[15]). A curette method is more likely to be used by otologists and ENTs when the ear canal is partially occluded and the material is not adhering to the skin of the ear canal."

So you might need to go to an ENT doctor if you think you compacted the earwax in your ear canal. It is not recommended to use a Qtip in your ear. But if you do, do not jam the wax into your year directly. The more you poke around in your ear, the more likely you could damage your ear drum, and that could be irreversible damage.

Stick your head under the bathtub fawcet, and rinse it good.
(warm water) If that doesn't help, there are ear wash kits at your local drug stores...they have stuff to help loosen the build up of ear wax and a special squeeze applicator to help flush your ear out..that should do it. Unless you have part of a q-tip stuck in there.. maybe have a friend look in your ear with a flashlight. If so, then it's tweezer time and you'll need some help.

good luck, you'll live.

Try Murine Ear Drops. Never use Q Tips. They cause more damage to the ears than anything else.
