Great Question. I will not bore you with my relationship with GOD. I will however ask you a simple question. Think real hard about this. How do you know what you know? Where did you learn your truth? Do you just know or were you told what to believe or not to believe? Think about it.
May GOD richly bless you.

I feel you man, I wrestled with this for a long time and still do to some extent. I ended up making many, many friends who are intelligent, deep and thoughtful people of faith, so I feel I can offer a total rejection of the idea that they are stupid just for believing in their respective gods. Nor are they ignorant - many are well-read, generally knowledgeable of topics that sometimes even include science, and choose to believe anyway. Sometimes I am still haunted by the notion that deep down, they don't really believe, but I know that's too arrogant - it's just like the fundamentalists of all faiths who say there's no such thing as an atheist. So, for me, where I'm at on it right now is this: there are fundamental differences in the way we view knowledge. For people of faith, emotion is a valid way of knowing. That is the core belief, which I personally disagree with, from which believers and non-believers diverge.

What information is this question based from. I am a Christian, and from where I stand we are the logical ones. We believe in a Man that died for our sins and loved us enough to do that. We believe in a higher power, God the Spirit, Father and Son, and in doing so we will spend eternal life with Him instead of Satan. Stupidity is following Satan and wanting to live
eternity with him - again that would be ignorant. Satan only comes to hurt and destroy...Why would an intelligent person follow something as evil as Satan. Even more thought -
If there wasn't a God..What would our lives mean. Why would we be here? Our lives mean so much more than that!!!
A Christians choice to follow God is not based on stupidity, but
rather on love for their Lord and Savior. I pray that you will have that understanding some day. Based on your question, I believe your main conflict is not having the Lord in your life. God bless.

The "conflicts with religion" you describe is what we call: spiritual warfare. Satan doesn't have to work on people that already belong to him. BUT, if one of "his" starts looking into this God stuff, he works on that one even more. If/when you become a Christian, you'll understand.
A relationship with God is supernatural, the Holy Spirit is alive inside you. I'm not really stupid and I'm not ignorant in matters concerning God. I tried everything before I became a Christian. I didn't try Christianity though!! Oh, I did the reincarnation.. ..karma... astrology. ..Deepok....any spiritual thing I could. I saw lots of evidence, but no proof of God, so I called myself agnostic.
At 37, I had a transformation. I'm a 'scientist' so I need proof and I question, all the time, and will challenge wise Christians with my questions. The Christian life is so exciting and so fun...and I'm learning all the time.

I don't believe they are stupid or ignorant. I believe these people have found something that gives their life purpose and direction. On the subject of God, that is a question to be answered by each individual for themselves. Usually you find whatever you are looking for...by looking. Many things have been learned from hard roads. Try to accomplish more than scratching the surface when you dig for the truth.

NEITHER.
People who believe in God are not stupid and they are not ignorant.
Those who believe there is no god are the people who believe the lie from the Father of Lies, from him who was a murderer from the beginning.
Why do people prefer to believe Satan's lies rather than the truth which comes from Him Who made the heavens and the earth?

you asking such a stupid question appear to be the ignorant one.Evidently you support "The Big Bang Theory". When you finally leave this earthly dwelling, you will find yourself in the presence of God Almighty and I'm sure he'll set you straight, but then again, it'll be tooooo late. This life is only a test as to where you will spend eternity. You really need to read you're Bible and do what it says.

People believe in God for a purpose. Someone to guide them in life , someone to teach them right from wrong, and if you dont believe in God you are lost. You ask crazy question like the one you just posted (not to hurt any feelings).

those of us who believe in God believe the same about non believers. We see everything around us and realize that it could not come to pass without the higher power. I would feel the same as you except I have read the bible and found the truth instead of just pointing fingers at others because they are trying to share the truth

Hey, I say neither. Everybody is entitled to believe whatever they want, whether it goes against or for what YOU believe is true. Keep an open-mind and maybe you wouldn't think these people are stupid or ignorant.
