im ur typical latina frm colombia and i have light brown skin
ever since i got wit him everyone says we arent right for each other
either his frends tell him im too dark for him and my frends tell me hes too white for me

People will always be jealous of people that are happy. More than likely they are giving you a difficult time because you found someone that likes you and that you care about. The color causing the problem here is not brown or white... it is green- your friends are envious of your happiness. Who knows how long your relationship will last? Just be good too each other and let your friends be like that... there is no law that says you have to hang out with them if they do not respect you.

Sounds like you're around alot of people that make color an issue and obviously you do not. Unless you choose to make this and issue than it will bother you. Pretty soon, people will get used to seeing you two together and it no one will even care. It might take awhile, but if its meant to be than it will be and who cares what others say? You have the power to make it a problem or not.

If all your friends are basing your relationship on how you physically look as a couple then just blow it off. Who cares if he's white and you're dark. if you two have a connection and you love eachother than that is what matters. Forget what they are saying to you or tell them all to shove it.

If you really love him, who cares what they say. If they really were your friends, they would want to see you happy, dark skin or light skin.

Well................there's nothing you can do. You can either leave him or tell your friends to deal with it. Just because he's white dosen't mean anything. if you really love him then it wouldnt matter at all!.. if you look at the world around you and see a couple walking down the street alot of the time they dont look alike! its just the kind of person you are attracted too that makes up that difference. Dont worry about it ;)
