If you commit suicide, you are not necessarily a murderer. You are more a very desperate unhappy person who feels there is no hope left. A very tragic ending, because there is hope for everyone. There is always hope.
About how it affects your eternity, read Purpleaura's answer above: in effect he says some of the fathers of the church taught that a person who committed suicide was lost, but that is because they thought you were saved by going to confession. Purpleaura1 poits out that the Bible teaches salvation is by grace, and cites verses showing you can have assurance of salvation.
A person who commits suicide is throwing away something very valuable, and it is definitely not what God would choose for him.

What if your suicide wasn't successful, Would you imprison yourself for attempted murder? Well when you aren't successful and someone finds out they do in a way imprison you (psychiatric hospital). Then you would have to live with your own murderer which sucks. But taking the life of anyone would make you a murderer. Which brings up the question of if you had multiple personalities and you tried to kill one of them because lets say you got into an argument or didn't like it, is it suicide or murder (homicide)?

I don't think so. I think that most suicides are a result of mental illness, which is something (if severe enough to warrant suicide) that cannot be controlled without medication.
Also, you should read up on the historical relevance of the book of Revelations. Most of it is quite symbolic for its day and is a metaphor for the Roman Empire. I personally consider most of it to be meaningful, but not literal.

Yes, you are taking a life (albeit your own) that you do not have the right to take. Therefore, you are a murderer. Of course, what repercussions this may have in the next life are dependent upon your own personal beliefs.

He who commits suicide , is his own murderer - but I think you are referring to - in the eyes of God ; and we can't answer for Him . In the eyes of the law , it cannot be murder , otherwise , those who attempt suicide ,and survive would be charged with attempted murder .

Suicides are spared from the lake of fire. (They are checked into the purgatorial asylum, and have a nice view of the beach of pointy rocks.)

Yes you are. Some say if you commit suicide you are doomed to live this life over again. Wouldn't that just suck?

Suicide is more an act of selfishness than murder. But I can see why you'd think this way.
