.Actually, Noah lived 930 years. The flood started when Noah was 600 years old. Yes I do believe it, and the reason people don't live to those ages today is because of the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, which says that all systems are breaking down and wearing out.

First of all, yes, he probably did live to be 900 years old. And why not? The Earth at that time wasn't densely populated, so of COURSE people lived longer, in order to have as many children as possible.
People don't live that long now because the Earth would be REALLY crowded if they did.
As for the age of the Earth, you know I'm a Christian. I don't believe the Earth is that young. I don't know how old it is. It could be millions, or even billions of years old.
I'm thinking, even if it's to be believed that the Earth was created in six days of MAN'S time, that would still put the Earth at over 8,000 years old. I look at all the "begats" in the Bible, and count them up.
Considering how long mankind DID once live, that means that the generations would be spread farther apart.
But I don't believe that the Earth was created in six days of man's time. I think it happened over many eons, simply because God would have nothing but time.
By the way, unless a person believes in the Big Bang Theory, the theory of the Earth coming together slowly is actually corroborated by most Christians.

I can tell the dye you use to color your hair is effecting your brain.
No it's not a miracle, it was the natural age for people to live back then. Why? Just imagine how crowded the Earth would be if people lived that long now.
I don't know where you come up with that figure, even the scientists cant agree on an age of the Earth. No one will ever really know, God planed it that way, In the Bible it says that to God a day is like a thousand years, so the Earth's age figured by Gods time.... 6 days = ? 6,000 yrs ? and that was just to make the Earth, now add from there. Oh yeah, the 7th day, can't forget it.

Yes and why not. If God wants you to live that long you will. You also have to think that the longer man (and woman) have been on this earth. The longer we have had to mess it up. God need Noah to carry out his wishes. Noah did that. Buy the way. Read even deeper and wait till you find out how old Abraham was when his wife Sarah had their child. God can do anything. That is why he is God. By the way, don't get hook on what a lot of the scientist have to say because they are not sure either. Plus if you are concerned about age, Noah lived while other people were living too. That's why God brought the flood.

So who told you the earth is only 6000 years old ??
Why do you waste your time? What have you got against the bible? I think maybe you are frustrated at not being able to understand it ? Our years are seventy or 80 these days.
I can not be bothered any more. was no miracle. life expectancy decreased after the flood.

Yes Noah lived to be 950 years. Remember humans were more perfect back then. Through time we have deteriorated, through sin. It has only been 6000 years since God created Adam and Formed the earth, meaning the earth itself could of been here long before that. We read in Genesis that the earth was created for mankind, which doesn't mean that it hasn't been here. God formed it for mankind.

conditions may have been different, but that's a speculation. The generation of Noah wasn't far from Adam who had access to the fruit of life which gave him immortality. It is also believed by some creationists that the atmosphere was richer in ocygen and therefore humans lived longer and grew giant like the dinosaurs.
hope that helps

You should read the Qur'an. It has no limiting dates because it was never modified my man...
But Noah did live a long time (1000 minus 50, or 950 years). In fact, if you visit the Armenian-Turkish border area where Noah (Nuh in Arabic) is believed to have lived, you will that it's common for people to live more than 100 years....
(29:14)
We (once) sent Noah to his people, and he tarried among them a thousand years less fifty: but the Deluge overwhelmed them while they (persisted in) sin.

No, I believe he lived 950 years.
Genesis 9
28 After the flood Noah lived 350 years. 29 Altogether, Noah lived 950 years, and then he died.
It was not a miracle, God set the limit for the life of men lower later after Noah.
