Something like wander, but wandering is walking without destination. The word I'm trying to remember means walking actually being the objective.
It's something like stroll, but it was another word.

A stroll is a walk without a clear purpose or intended destination.

Perhaps a jaunt, but again that isn't always a walk.

A hike is a walk where walking is the purpose.

There's always simply 'a walk'
Ex:

"I'm going for a walk after dinner."
